INTRODUCTIONS:
First of all, sorry for my poor english(my native language is ukranian). In my humble opinion, oil rogue is so underrated at the curent metagame(At TempoStorm meta-reports she is 22). Rogues have good matchup against "Kings of Meta" such as Patron Wariors and Secret Paladins.
TECH:
-
Backstab - our main power in early-game. Have a nice synergy with any card of this deck and good combo-activator
-
Preparation - most important card.Cheapest combo-activator. Good with Sprint, Violet Teacher, Edwin VanCleef etc
-
Deadly Poison - is one of our burst and early game cards.
-
Blade Flurry - Main aoe-removeal and combo-finisher
-
Eviscerate - 2 mana 4 damage(if u have combo). Good for killing big minions
-
Sap - tempocrusher, work good against Sylvanas Windrunner, Tirion Fordring, Piloted Shredder and any buffed minions( for example - taunted Twilight Drake)
-
Bloodmage Thalnos - cheapest Spell Power for our spells, draw and combo.
-
Fan of Knives - helps you to clear the board and draw. Dont afraid to use this on empty board, if this card is useless in current matchup(Mage, Patron War etc)
-
Earthen Ring Farseer-in early game we take a lot of damage, cuz we use own dager. Also we can heal own minions such as Violet Teacher or Loatheb. Good as 3rd drop for tempo
-
Edwin VanCleef - is brilliant if you know how to play and terrible if you don't.First off, he's not a big minion. You should never have that mindset when playing him in a deck. 70% of the times if not more you will use him as a 4/4 or 6/6. It's the most versatile minion in the game, to use him correctly you need to know the current meta and what cards your opponent most likely sitting on (or assume he's sitting on rather). So you either use him to establish early board (which is really important so that's why he's kind of great), as a set up play (triggering mirror, baiting out bgh or silence, to combo with eviscerate and so on) or in a combo play (like loatheb+prep+tinker+vancleef). Tips if u opponent have Big Game Hunter play for 6\6, same for Shadow Word: Death - u must play 4\4. From comments
-
SI:7 Agent one of the best 3rd drop in game. Dont afraid to use without combo. Remember: Rogue its a tempo deck
-
Tinker's Sharpsword Oil - our main force.
-
Piloted Shredder - Most popular 4rd drop in the game. Good against weapon class.
-
Violet Teacher - I love this girl. We have 18 spells for this baby. But be carefull, against Hunter's Unleash the Hounds and Grim Patron. Also our combo from Tinker's Sharpsword Oil can buffed inactive minion
-
Azure Drake - Azure Drakes work perfectly together with spellpower and it also cycles to your strong cards
- Loatheb - One of the best 5 drop. Save us against druid's combo, hunter's Kill Command etc
-
Sludge Belcher - In this deck we have only one Earthen Ring Farseer. Belcher save for us 7-9HP, Also good work against Piloted Shredders
-
Sprint - try to use in combo with Preparation for save tempo

Well its just his win rate, doesnt mean hes only goal is to win, it just tells to other people who are interested it really is decent deck if you are a good player
No, you are delusional, and have no sense of the real world, how money works, or have much work experience.
"Unpaid hobby??" How much do you think these guys are making?? Lets look at how much money popular players have made since the start of Hearthstone, and these guys have played since beta.
1. Reynard: $16,124.53
He has played for what? 3 years? So he has made about $5000 a year playing Hearthstone? $2.50 an hour? Even people that work fast food make 4 times that.
Yet most people in fast food dont give a shit. They just do in for the money and cant find a better job. This is similar to most blue-collar jobs, you work hard until you think you wont get any promotions, and then you just do your job, nothing "competitive" about it, unless your idea of a job is summer sales.
But lets look at other people,
Amaz: $35,654.15
Trump: $42,612.50
This isn't good income, and these people are making sacrifices to do this, when they could be doing other things to make more money, and then play Hearthstone as a hobby.
LIke these guys are mid twenties. The average age of the person who enters medical school is like 23. So as their friends are going to graduate school to make a hundred times more than what they are currently making, you are going to tell me they are doing this "for the money??"
No, they do it because they enjoy it.
If your only motivation is money, I feel sorry for you. Some people are competitive because they like to win, because they want to be the best they can be. This doesn't mean that you can't "play for fun," everyone does that.
But money has nothing to do with being competitive. You are competitive because you enjoy something, and want to be the best you can be at it.

Calm down kid you know nothing about me and went full on ad hominen, that is really immature, I just said rogue is fine and 60% is good enough for ladder if you are having fun with the class. I'd rather play a clasd that i like and have 60% wr than play something i find boring and get 85% wr, that is how a sane person handles this game, some one saying that rogue is unplayable because the wr is not good enough is absolutely delusional. Also Xsirez got to legend playing oil with a 60/20 ratio so people saying rogue is bad just have no clue. And the numbers you have are just tournament earnings those guys make most of their money with the streams, if you're not paid to play there is no point in getting high ranks every season, you gain nothing but personnal gratification, wich is cool but doesn t mean you absolutely have to play the tier 1 decks and spam on forums that rogue is shit
Maybe not now, but the cards that were crap might all come together one day. Which is why I believe Blizzard should be more consistent with the crappy arch-type card they are already making, and create something insane with it along the line.
i think Beneath the Grounds,Shado-Pan Rider, Buccaneer have a good potential
Here we go again with the "upvote my deck and i'll do this"...
Whats wrong with that? It lets the deck user know how many people are interested in seeing a guide so he/she won't waste their time creating a guide.
Why even bother with rogue?! 60% already something to brag with for this class? This is just sad. Better stop all to play rogue and force Blizz to buff the class.
better go play u patron warrior or secret-paladin with 420% winrate
You speak like you have boring enough life to actually go on the level of playing paladins or patron warriors
So regular oil whit a belch instead of healbot
yep. i post this deck only for fun, but peoples upvote it
hm, i think 2nd farseer or shade will be good
I threw in the Doctor...didn't regret it.
Nice deck, i used similar to reach rank 5 too, but, why no healbot? For me it's just unwinable against aggro, with only farseer, yep, belcher could save some HP, but it's not so helpfull against something like facehunter or mech mage, because of many burst spells that can go through board.
in past season i use healbot instead of belcher, but 3\3 for 5 mana is not good for tempo
healbot will be good with 2\1 corsair
I upvoted you, but isn't this the same deck that MrYagut made famous?
facepalm. oil rogue playing since gvg release
I think he meant this version. I also saw this version with Mr. Yagut last season or last 2 seasons. Not trying to bust our balls or something. His recent version also does not run Healbots as well. I'm running this version too I like how it emphasizes more on minion presence.
Have you tried out to play something else instead of vancleef? since even if you get it big its and instant silence target or bgh and stuff like that, for example another sludge or healbot could help you win more games aswell or have you been succesfull with edwin?
