Hello guys and girls. I can't believe this is true but I just made it to top 100 EU with this deck. The deck has worked incredible for me and I've played it since TGT came out. The deck is a fairly typical tempo mage deck but with the addition of Effigy and Spellslinger the deck has become much more consistent. Oh and I also beat the master, KOLENTO (Kreygasm) with this deck.

Here is the proof of top 100:

The main goal with this deck is to gain early board presence and try to defeat your opponent by using efficient removal and good value cards.

Some card explanations:

Clockwork Gnome: A solid 1 drop. Especially good in this deck since we play Mana Wyrms, Flamewakers and Archmage Antonidas.

Effigy: An insane card that lets you maintain you tempo. Forces your opponent remove your minions twice. Sometimes you Effigy your 1 or 2 mana cards but thats usually not too terrible. The card gets insane when you get to Effigy your over 3 mana minions.

Spellslinger: A really strong card that gives you even more spells to combo with your other minions. Since the deck is "fast" you pretty much always have the time to play the spell. I've never had a moment when I've lost because of the spell my opponent gets because they still have to pay mana to use the spell which they necessarily don't want to ever do.

Loatheb: A solid card that you can play when you have over extended or are afraid of dying from a spell. Also has some synergy with Spellslinger.

Sylvanas Windrunner: Really solid card in tempo deck. Forces your opponent to use removal, make uneven trades or just give you a minion. It's also a solid comeback card and a really good Effigy target.

Archmage Antonidas: An autoinclude in the deck because of Clockwork Gnomes and other fairly cheap spells. This card alone has won me so many games.

Mulliganing:

Always mulligan for your 1 and 2 drops. Depending on your opening hand curve you can keep your 3 and 4 mana drops but only if you have the coin. Never keep your Arcane Intellect and 5 or higher mana cost cards. I usually like to keep 1 cheap removal spell (Flamecannon or Frostbolt) in my opening hand to answer early game threats
