We all know how effective spam paladin has been in the meta. It has lead to some rather one sided matches in both tournaments and on ladder. So with TGT out I decided to revamp the deck to my favorite tribe. MURLOCS. Previously murlocs were the domain of warlocks due to the hero power pushing for so much. Then GVG gave murlocs to Shaman's who said hell no. So they were left with out a place in the meta. Then along came the Murloc Knight.
The strategy of the deck is pretty straight forward. Play the deck as if it was an aggro spamadin and build the board. At around turn 6 you will want to drop the Murloc Knight and hero power to get a solid board. If you have the Sword of Justice in play then your board just became sickening.
You will trade when you have to, but always apply as much face pressure as you can.
Mulligan
For all decks the mulligan is the same. Leper Gnome, Shielded Minibot, Muster for Battle, Abusive Sergeant, Divine Favor is also an acceptable hold.
Been testing that card but its a little to slow.
This card destroy evry budget deck player http://media-hearth.cursecdn.com/avatars/252/292/22353.png
So does flame strike
Only on Mage but with this they all have ...
Budget decks usually run Silences, if youa re not running silence in a budget deck you are doing it wrong.
Funny deck, thanks.
Could you provide a better video? No offence meant but winning against a basic lvl priest is not that honorable at all
I had a similar issue thus why I addeded abusive Sergeant....Some times its all about timing and some times your just gonna get rekted. The deck was meant to be a fun proof of concept that just worked well for me. Side not its still undergoing balancing and testing so your suggestion might just show up.
This deck made me drop 5 ranks.
Beef Stew Murloc deck from beta works better than this.
Sorry you feel that way but at that point perhaps you were playing it wrong?
Come on guys no need to downvote him he didnt like the deck. It happens.
You maybe should have stopped running it after dropping 2 ... it's clearly not for you
Been playing paladin in Arena and Merlock Knight summoning a Merlock Knight can get really out of hand aka incredible good fun. Not sure how well you can make them stick in constructed but if you can it's like an instant army.
Have you thought about Bolvar in this deck? With all the stuff that dies, it seems like he could get pretty huge pretty fast.
Considered however Bolvar is a card I have no desire to ever craft, and it would be a dead card in hand for long time in order to get some value on, and thus throws the divine favor pull off a bit.
