ErA's Midrange Hunter
The Matchup Table
Notes
In the past few weeks Midrange Hunter was on the cusp of being #1 again but struggled a bit as it was forced to run cards like Abusive Sergeant.
Now that Quick Shot is avalible Midrange Hunter has entered its prime. Era seems to be the first to craft a solid Midrange list with Quick Shot as he has managed to hold #1 NA all week with this list and many others have had success with it as well.
The Kezan was added to deal with Freeze Mage which was popular at the start of the week and is good against vs Face Hunter which has historically kept Midrange Hunter down.
Lastly, Explosive Trap is back in Midrange Hunter for the first time in a while as a nod to the heavy Zoo presence in the meta.
#1 deck - Ladder Snapshot #13 (4/25/15 ; tempostorm)
I really don't know, Dr. Boom is OP.
Ha yeah that is what I was afraid of, I can't seem to find anything that fits. I replaced it with Chromaggus just for fun to try it out but it has been useless.
If you have ragnaros or Gahz'rilla they work
Amaz plays Ragnaros for lawls and Naiman used to as well. If that 8 dmg hits face, it's an almost auto win!
Well you certainly don't deserve a down vote for not having a legendary card. However, it is true Dr. Boom is very difficult to replace, as you are essentially get a 9-16atk 9hp minion for 7 mana. So, for those who can't afford to dust all their cards or pay for packs to help get him, I have a list of Dr. Boom replacements from legendaries down to commons. Non really meet his value, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. So what are we looking for? A big body that is difficult to remove and helps with board control.

Honestly, Leeroy Jenkins.
With Dr. Boom, you put him up to hit face on the next turn. With Leeroy, you might just kill them on turn 7 if highmane hits face. Or, on turn 8, when dr. boom would hit face, you just play leeroy after your turn 7 play (i.e. sylvanas).
Sylvanas is also super powerful -- she's like a 3rd highmane in terms of power that can really screw things up for your opponent.
Gotta get Dr. Boom, he is the best card in the game. You could use Ragnaros or Sylvanas. If you need a budget option then try Stranglethorn Tiger
Thank you and everyone for the great suggestions, I tried some out and was successful with a few but I opened some packs now I have enough dust to make Dr. Boom and complete this deck.
im not sure its reliable enough. this deck is all about consistency which is why he isnt running cult master either.
I know this deck is all around Quick Shot, but what would you recommend if a guy does not own BRM ? Anything good to use instead of Quick Shot?
Piloted Shredder's or Sludge Belcher's
Great deck!
I've eaten 4 other Hunters in a row, a mage and a lock. Getting me from rank 17 to 15. Thx!
Wow rank 17 to 15! was a very hard Trip, Wasnt t?
Kappa
1 day of new season
Rank 14 and 12 are going to be really hard to pass, good luck :)
I am playing Mid Hunter this season and it's a really good deck. Only have problems against mech mages... Guess I'll try the explosive trap and see how it goes... although most of mechs have 3 life.
What do you reckon I could replace Quickshot with seeing as I don't have BRM?
I'd say go with Piloted shredder, that's the only thing missing from other midrange hunter decks
I like 2 quick shots in this deck, seems better than belchers (lethal damage, sometimes card draw , helps to destroy enemy's minion, or setup for explosive trap)
