I found that the 2/3 minions that grew with spells were the key problems, so I built a deck around silences and removal. I found this was incredibly effective; I won by turn 8. I never hit the need for the end-game legendaries.

Gazlowe, Gadgetzan, Violet, and Mana Addict help to use the spells and turn them to your advantage. I found I was able to draw and maintain board control this way. The apprentices from Violet Teacher  can clear the silenced 4/1 drakes.

You can use the Cabal Shadow Priest to take the 2/3 minions that grow with spells (I don't remember what they're called), which is fun.
