GNASTY GNORC HAS RETURNED AND ONLY SPYRO THE DRAGODIN CAN DEFEAT HIM.
I've currently only included released cards so the deck is ready to run. This deck assumes you have good knowledge of how to play Paladin or are an experienced player. Thus I have used some personal preferences of mine, but will adapt it when the meta becomes clearer.
Work in progress until other Blackrock cards are released.
Tips
Mulligan as if playing a normal Paladin.
Remember Dragon Consort's battlecry is ongoing until you play another dragon, so don't hold back if it's on curve and you have no other dragons in hand. The fact it's an ongoing effect makes it unfair.
Remember you can play 2 5/5s for 8 mana with Dragon Consort x2 and then play a cheaper Ysera on turn 9.
A turn 5 Dragon Consort can result in a turn 6 Chromaggus
Options (WIP)
Depending on how favourable Azure Drake is after all cards are released, it may be cut for something more traditional such as a 2nd Sludge Belcher or Piloted Shredder.
Can sub 1 Zombie Chow for something you prefer, be it Acolyte of Pain, Stampeding Kodo, Coghammer or Ironbeak Owl.
Future cards to consider:
1x Chromaggus Will replace Alexstrasza
1/2x Twilight Drake
(Potential combo with Chromaggus.)
1x Volcanic Drake
(Combo with board clear.)
Quartermaster has no place in a dragon list. Emperor Thaurissan is also a rather poor choice in Paladin lists since it's essentially a tempo loss. The deck doesn't run enough cycle to warrant a spot for that card.
What about Foe Reaper then?
You can take advantage of Hungry Dragon's otherwise negative Battlecry by having Foe Reaper attack the newly spawned 1 drop, thereby killing the bigger adjacent minions while Foe Reaper takes less damage.
Would Defender of Argus do well instead of Sludge Belcher? I switched mine out thinking I could use these med-high health minions as shields if needed.
