With this deck Xixo reached legendary rank - first legend in the world this season
Mulligan: Always mulligan for Leper Gnome or Clockwork Gnome and one of the weapons (I prefer Glaivezooka instead of Eaglehorn Bow)
Changes for Leeroy Jenkins: You can replace him with Argent Commander or with Reckless Rocketeer they are not that effective, but opponent has almost every time no answer to them.
Some tips:
1) Use Ironbeak Owl only to pass through taunts or to activate Kill Command
2) Try to use your hero power every time you can! It is very important in this deck.
3) Do not forget about the synergy of Knife Juggler and the deathrattle of Haunted Creeper
PS. Sorry for my bad english :D
PS2. Do not forget to maximally BM your opponent :D you are playing cancer :D
Tried this deck, first match up?
Fatigue druid with stupid amounts of healing and a Tree of Life
I've been getting stuck with A TON of fatigue imbeciles. Complete waste of time and annoying to play against.
No, just no.
LEL tell me more how you need brain to spam hero power? biach pls you are hunTARD.
I'm downvoting this in the hopes that no one sees this deck. I just went on an unbroken streak from 17 to 10. It was mostly mech mages, zoolocks, a few hand locks, a couple shamans and a priest. I had to take a break after 1.5 hours of solid face-smashing.
Ack. I just hit 9 in the time to took to write this post. I made the Jenkins -> Glaivezooka sub, btw.
Take out one Knife Juggler, one Unleash, and add Two Freezing Traps. It helps to get past taunts and other pesky minions on the board so you can just hit face.
I went 13-6 before my change. After the change I went on a 10-0 run.
this deck wins every time
If you played this deck a little more you'll notice you benefit more from the 2nd explosive, as it does 2 damage to the champ where snakes can do a potential of 3-6 depending on if you have knife jugg out. explosive is faster and you shouldn't really need more beasts.
This deck gets crushed by Mech Mage due to lost cost taunts and building up a board behind that. Horrible in the current meta, maybe Asia meta is way different.
This deck was great at getting me from rank 15 to rank 18, very fast losses to Druid, Priest, and Mech Mage. Much approval.
Believe it or not, I started playing this one yesterday and faced 3 druids in a row followed by priest. Wrecked them all! (might have been a bit lucky I assume).
How? HP every single turn, plus smart traps, bows and minions on the table. Let him trade, always go face. Finish with KC/Leeroy/Golem after owling his taunt. Tracking was decisive in 2 of those matches.
Thing is, as this has so many finishers, top-decking your finisher for lethal is not really luck, but an inherent mechanic of the deck. It was the same with Shockadin back then (even got golden pally with it).
EDIT: Early zombie chow/mini-bot and alike are not enough to stop you. Just follow the above strat and there´s a good chance of winning
"Always go face" doesn't work so well against Annoy-o-Trons and Innervated Sludge Belchers or Druid of the Claw, especially with only the one Owl in the deck. The games I won went fast, but the vast majority of them weren't about 'top-decking my finisher', they were about needing my finishers just to get past taunts.
...
For what it's worth, Xixo played against a ton of Mech Mage during his Legend speed run, and I think he was winning most of them, though in the couple of hours that I watched I saw him lose a few.
@cawacawa it's a really good card for ending the game if you're short a few damage. Use Tracking and hopefully a charge pull out of the three choices or another finisher.
By the way, Xixo just completed a ~16-hour stream where he went from Rank 21 on the Asia server to Legend#3 with nothing but Face Hunter; his list was just like the one shown here, but with a 2nd Glaivezooka instead of Leeroy, since he doesn't own in on Asia.
Yup, agreed that 2nd Glaivezooka is better than Argent Commander.
my current feelings are that Druid is the worst match up
0 Shield Blocks, 0 Shield Maidens, no Whirlwind, no turn 2 Win axe, yet he barely won with exact lethal.
dont have leeroy, should i replace him with argent commander or dr boom?? great deck : D
