Welcome to my season 9 rank 5 deck "Divine Vengance"!

Introduction:

This is a fairly aggressive deck due to the many early game buffs it has, which force the opponent to have quick answers or else he'll pay dearly. This deck is anti-rush/zoo but also highly effective against most control and handlock. May I also add that it is a very fun to play with deck, that has a high win rate in current ladder meta.

Mulligan:

If you're starting second then the best mulligan for you is Argent Squire and Blood Knight along with any other card which costs 3 or less. The basic principle here is to neglect cards which cost 4 or more. You should also neglect double Avenge Or double Coghammer and leave only 1 of those. That's pretty much it.

Card choices:

Argent Squire: Why run x2? Because of Blood Knight & Avenge. This deck is designed to have a very pressuring strong start, so that through the rest of the game you can play with more ease. This card, along with the other 4 I've mentioned do it perfectly.

Kobold Geomancer: Previously I ran Azure Drake but switched to this. The reason is the 4 spells that deal damage. Too often do I need that extra spell damage in order to kill a minion or win the game, and Azure Drake, though provided me with an extra card draw, was too expensive. The double Consecration + Bloodmage Thalnos at turn 10 happened too many times and won me too many games to ignore. So I decided to add this card,

Youthful Brewmaster: This card is mainly for the Blood Knight strategy. Say I have a blood knight in my hand, but my argent squire just lost its divine shield, then I could use this card to bring it back with divine shield and then summon blood knight (assuming I have the mana. An if I don't, then I simply wait 1 turn). Or if my blood night was silenced then I can resummons it later. But another reason for this card is that it goes great if my Sludge Belcher was silenced. Or to resummons Big Game Hunter or Ancient Healbot.

Blood Knight: I will just say one thing about this card, 80% of the time you absolutely DON'T want it above 6/6 stats. It's way too risky, unless you're 100% sure he has no answers.

Kezan Mystic: This is mainly due to the hunter popularity. 60-70% of games in ladder s Vs hunter, so you're almost guaranteed to get value from this card. Not to mention the paladin and mages.

Against the different classes:

I apologize in advance, I haven't used any winning/losing stats while laddering so i'll just say in regards to winning rato: "Bad", "Decent", "Good", "Very good", "Perfect".

Hunter: Winning ratio: Decent. Allot of the winnings depends on your mulligan against zoo hunter. Usually you want to keep Consecration in your starting hand in this match. Hope for Sludge Belcher and Ancient Healbot and also Coghammer can be a game changer, and you'll be fine.

Handlock:

Winning ratio: Perfect. I haven't lost to a handlock even once with this deck, even against pre-legendary players. You wan BGH and TBK obviously. His only answer to this deck's strong start is Ironbeak Owl, which isn't very fierce. By the time he summons his giants, he's already at 15 health or below at turn 6. By the you've gathered enough cards to cripple his strategy and win the game.

Control Warrior:

Win ratio: Good. This is when Harrison Jones is at his finest. The matches that I lost to this deck is when I didn't believe he had a finishing blow, but then he surprised me, so watch out from that,

Control Priest:

Win ratio: Decent. This is the toughest match for this deck, because often he uses your own minions against you. I have one tip though: Beware of 4 damage circle of healing combo! You might think you have board control but it can change it a second.

Rush warlock/mage:

Win ratio: Very good. This deck wins easily against rush and agro decks. It has allot of answers. Once at rank 6-7 or so I defeated an agro warlock while taking no damage at all.

Druid/shaman:

Win ratio: good/very good. Shaman is very easy to win against because his cards have very few answers to this deck. Often he would use Hex on a buffed blood knight, which is a big waste. Druid is a bit harder, but he doesn't have many answers to this deck...

If you have any questions do ask and I shall reply. Happy Laddering!
