Well, we got 10 upvotes, many thanks to all of you.
Now about mulligan:
I divided the mulligan into two parts, a basic part ( used everywhere: it consists of Wildpaw Cavern, Lightning Bloom, and Sleetbreaker), and additional parts for different classes.
For DH: basic part and Landslide or Don't Stand in the Fire!.
For Druid: basic part and Mutanus the Devourer (if you meet Aggro Druid too often, you should take Landslide).
For hunter: basic part and Canal Slogger and Landslide.
For mage: basic part and Mutanus the Devourer or if you haven't found it, then try to find Multicaster.
For Paladin: basic part and Snowfall Guardian and Devolving Missiles.
For Priest: always give priority to Mutanus the Devourer.
For rogue: the same as for a paladin.
For shaman: basic part and Don't Stand in the Fire!.
For warlock: the same as for priest.
For warrior: basic part and Multicaster.
If you have any questions or want to see some gameplay for this deck, you can add me on battlenet Arthemus#21104.
Swapped Devolving with Bearon, helps generate extra wide boards along with macaws
You will likely lose out on some draw from Multicaster , but if you find you aren't using devolving anyways, maybe its worth it!
I don't get Kazakusan. You don't have dragons in your deck so this never triggers. Lost a few times don't really get the deck ended up with small 3-2 cards and wind chill that i couldn't use since the opponent played no minions.
Kazakusan is here for very long games against warriors and priests. Windchill is not necessary to use only on enemy minions, it can also be used on your minions such as totems.
It triggers with no minions in your deck. The point is to avoid fatigue by filling up your deck when it's almost empty.
Will be checking this deck out for sure. Trying it with the new additions/changes as of 2/24/22. First game I played, the opponent conceded. I wonder if we should use a copy of Guidance to discover more situational spells during the game, but maybe that is a bit greedy for control. All in all, I look forward to testing this deck and sharing my experiences, you have my upvote!
That's a great idea, gonna try that right now.
I think I should try different builds before I do a full guide for this deck.
Very hud
Thx
I have to agree with Beachstone, by the time you might be able to use Kazakusan you will either have won the game or be dead.
I would like to think there is a shaman deck out there that could be a successful Kazakusan build. But not sure its possible.
On which rank did you get this win rate?
ok tried it and having Kaza in the deck makes rly no sense...
Diamond 5
Basically, kazakusan was planned as a card that can help defeat quest priests, because you try to get a lot of cards to find mutanus to eat priest reward, but you end up running out of resources, so kazakusan can refill your deck
That makes some sense. You play to the meta. If you're not running into a bunch of quest priest, then two other cards might serve you better. They are pretty annoying to play against.
Edit: Played a few games and it's a fun deck with lots of spoilers. Against control warrior I played Kazakusan, several spells, and then Brilliant Macaw to reload my deck a second time. Put him into fatigue and countered his win strategy... twice... to get the win.
Literally just recreated this exact game against control warrior, feels amazing. Not much has to really go right in order to win, just be patient and make a lot of Wildpaw Cavern 's to keep them frustrated in the early to mid game.
