its good for control, maybe this will finally make control shaman viable?
Shaman was actually really lacking healing right now, with the rush elemental being pretty much it. This will help a lot.
0 mana restore 5 health to your hero is kinda middling. You could use this card to "bank" 2 mana and play a spell 2 turns early, but that adds "big spell Shaman" to the list of unrelated unplayable half-hearted Shaman archetypes that Blizzard likes to churn out for some reason, right next to Freeze, Murlocs, Nature spells, Elementals, Overload, and Battlecries.
I like it in the BolTK decks
Really? Not convinced on it there (assuming you mean Bolner/Y'sharrj OTK). There's not actually that many spells you want to hit - none for the combo, for example (since bloom is (0)). Primordial/windchill are (1), and frequently cast relatively quickly for draw. Missiles is (1) and usually easy to weave in. Perpetual/storm/tank/cavern are the only good targets for me, though you have frostbite in some builds too, but all of those are cheap already, and usually relatively situational.
Quite honestly, I prefer Snowblind for the body in that deck. Maybe in a shammy deck with more bigger spells and less lurker/bearon/guardian/sleetbreaker/multicaster core, but not in Bolner/Y'sharrj.
Now, if we're talking quest Sham, that's a definite place for it - think it fits much better there, and is probably a shoo-in.
Obviously a good card, I feel the cost reduction here is pretty fair. I feel like the shaman cards in this set are pushing towards a more midrange/control shaman build.
Another reduction card... Blizz... stop reducing things.
Don't say that, they're gonna think it's about their prices.
