This is a tough deck to play. There are so many competing goals that I don't know what I should be trying to do in any given turn. Its definitely fun but I'm getting stomped with it at rank 5
OK, someone is going to need to explain this deck to me. Specifically: how do you decide when to shuffle Pogos versus try to draw for your power cards? Or do you always go full-shuffle and just through caution to the wind? My admittedly limited experience with Galakrond Rogue is that its very dependent on drawing your power cards (Heistbaron Togwaggle, Galakrond, the Nightmare/Kronx Dragonhoof, Edwin VanCleef + Umbral Skulker), so I foresee situations where you're very upset to topdeck your 2nd-4th Pogo. On the other hand, if you're never shuffling, then what's the point?
Your power cards are your Pogo-hoppers in this deck! Galakrond is only in there for card draw. Umbral Skulker is only in there to make a big Edwin, or something. I don't even run Umbral in this deck. There is only really one powerful card that I try to have in my hand before I start shuffling Pogos: Zilliax. Because your pogos take a while to get charged up, it is very helpful to be able to use Zilly to heal back a lot of your early game damage.
I usually try to shuffle maybe 3 pogos right away. Then I wait for Zilliax, then I shuffle as many pogos as possible. In place of Umbral Skulker I run 2x Stowaway to pull out more pogos.
I made it to rank 4 with this deck. Above 5 this deck doesn't compete as well with the Shaman and Hunter decks from higher rank players. My highest rank ever is 2 with any deck any season.
this fucking deck is fun lmfao
replacement for barista ?
Togwaggle's Scheme maybe.
This is the most fun I've had this expansion so far!
