ABOUT THE DECK

Wanted to share my currently best performing RoS paladin deck.

I tried to make big paladin since the launch of RoS. At first, the archetype was very successful, but once meta settled a bit it stopped performing very well. I tried with big value stuff (Ysera, archamages) but it sucks against aggro and doesn't even have enough value against control. Tried to make it faster with almost only rush minions and Abomination kind of stuff but then I didn't stand a chance against warrior nor mage. Needed to find sth that will stand a chance against greed decks but will not be too slow against aggro/tempo. 

Kangor's Endless Army was my first thought even at the start of RoS but I wasn't sure it's gonna work + I've been playing too much mech pally since last 2 expansions. As it turned out, pulling big taunts and huge divine shield minions are what we want. AND we have a great finisher.

Mysterious Blade (keep a secret with it) || Consecration || Zilliax || Humility

HOW TO PLAY

Always be mindful about what's left in a deck. What You can pull with Duel! or Prismatic Lens. Before playing minions on curve calculate whether it's not better to play those 2 spells instead.

If you have the coin, it is almost always correct to play lens on 3, if you're being under a lot of pressure. Unless you play adventure on 3 and then use coin for zilliax.

Don't play lens on 4 following up with duel. You're gonna fall behind. Especially against faster decks. It's a good practice to make use out of your ramp asap.

Don't play secrets with recruits unless you're 100% sure they won't be the reason for triggering them. Secrets are a great way to generate both value and tempo in this deck. Always check if it's a proper time to play a secret eg. you'll use all of your mana until the turn you're able to summon a minion. Managing secrets is very important here.

CARD CHOICES AND OMISSIONS

Autodefense Matrix - the higher the attack of a minion, the better the divine shield, easy :)
Redemption - great for big stuff and divine shield minions
Blessing of Wisdom - great with rush and overall big minions because they are harder to kill. Can also serve as a temporary removal
Humility - tempo tool for neutralizing enemy minions. Also cheap so great for lens
Flash of Light - card draw and heal which is great. Often times helps to restore your big minions.
Lightforged Blessing - in this deck, this is a neverending Reno Jackson
Mysterious Blade - form of an early game protection which suits cheap secrets
Call to Adventure - its here mostly to buff up Zilliax. Buffing Batterhead is also game winning.
Batterhead - aggro wrecker. I think it's one of the main reasons this deck can exist in current meta.
Burly Shovelfist - fits very well with duel and lens. I'm more than happy for having this card in my deck. Very good performance.

Archmage Vargoth - So the thing is, I tried this card in other versions of BIG pally. Hard to combo it with lenses or duel and it ruins your zilliax plan against aggro/midrange.
Desperate Measures - I don't want random secrets. I want THE secrets. It underperforms comparing to my choices of secrets.
