I wanted to create an even deck to use the 1 cost mage hero power and combo it with Coldarra Drake/Fallen Hero. There is a lot of good Freeze/Burn/Dragon synergy for even even costed cards.
Fire:
-Fallen Hero: 2 damage for 1 mana. Pair with Coldarra Drake and discount with Emperor T. can provide a large swing.
-Netherspite Historian - Get more dragons. Dragons breathe fire.
-Meteor - Fiery Ball - Self Explanatory
-Twilight Drake/Twilight Guardian - Dragons breathe fire (see Netherspite Historian)! Give synergy to the deck and are good at slowing down your opponent's early game.
-Coldarra Drake - Opponent must remove, otherwise you likely have 8-10 mana after you play this and you can do that much damage or more if Fallen Hero is on the board.
Primordial Drake - Fire Clear!
-Deathwing - Dragons breathe fire! Dragon Synergy and last ditch bailout if you get behind.
Ice:
-Ice Walker - 1 mana deal 1 damage and freeze your opponent or their minion. Pretty, pretty, pretty good!
-Snow Chugger - Great early game minion to take the wind out of your opponents aggro sails. Always keep in mulligan.
-Blizzard - Freeze Synergy/Board Clear/Stall could be replaced with Meteor depending on your matchups
Other:
Book of Specters: Adds some needed draw.
Polymorph: Adds some needed stall
Emperor Thaurissan - Makes your hand better and your combo (Coldarra Drake/Fallen Hero) better by giving you more mana to throw 1 mana fireballs.
Frost Giant: Freeze (in name only) and Burn (cost reduction through better hero power) Synergy
Possible Replacements/(In Deck Currently):
-Hungry Dragon (Twilight Drake)
-Bone Drake (Deathwing)
Thanks for looking at my deck. Let me know if you have improvements. Feedback is appreciated!
