If you know me, you know that I am a free to play hearthstone player. I hate the thought that you can spend so much money on this game, take a hiatus, then when you come back there is a new expansion and your cards are irrelevant in the new meta. So, I choose to play casually while watching my shows or youtube. TL ; DR Here is my budget deck, Enjoy!

Mulligans :
You want to mulligan for
* A 1 drop of the appropriate tier depending on the match-up.
- Against fast classes like even pally or tempo mage you want Tier S+ 1 drops that are very survivable and can contest the board early.
- Against classes that are slow to get rolling like Control Warlock and Control Priest you can keep tier trash 1 drops
* A 3 drop of the appropriate tier depending on the match-up
* A 5 drop only if you have survivable 1 and 3 drops and the coin
1 drop tier ranking system:
Tier S+ - Dire Mole , Argent Squire ( most survivable 1 drops )
Tier A - Firefly ( except against pally ; they become tier S dude busters )
Tier trash - Archerus Veteran & Southsea deck hand
( You can keep TIer trash in ez clap match-ups, but toss them away against hard match-ups or mage/druid who can ping them )
3 drop ranking system
Tier S+ Hench Clan Thug ( nutty card )
Tier A - Marsh Drake, Tar Creeper ( survivable cards that get boosted by fungalmancers )
Tier Situational - Owl ( you keep it against classes who play taunts like cubelocks, but not against fast classes where you need beefy drops to contest board )
How to play deck
1) Use mulligan cheat sheet to see which cards you can keep
2) Contest Board Early
3) Play your 5 drops mid game ( buff your board )
4) Silence their taunts go Face late game
How to use rogue weapon
You need to think ahead when using rogue weapon. There are niche scenarios where these don't rules of thumb don't apply but here are the general rules of thumb.
1) Contest Board Early
2) Go face late
3) If your turn is full next turn and you only have 1 charge do not attack
- By this I mean if you don't have to contest board, don't waste your attack if you are going to be using all of your mana next turn. For example, it is turn 4, your opponents board is empty and you plan to play 5 mana Cobalt Scalebane or Fungalmancer next turn. You should not attack . The opponent could potentially play a minion that you would rather contest with your weapon with, however you will not have the mana to re - equip weapon because your turn is full.
Advanced Tactics
If you know your match-up or are trying to counter-que ( For rank 5 - Legend ). It is possible to keep coldblood early game ( If you have a 1 and 3 drop already ) . I have coldblood cheesed countless amounts of cube warlocks on my climb to legend. ( Only coldblood cheese with Argent Squire ). You should only do this if you feel that you are a skilled enough player to play around every possible board clear ( play around defiles, ect. )

Thanks for posting this! I'm a new f2p player and really love this deck. Are there any replacements that could be made with the new Rastakhan expansion?
Why tar creeper ? isn't just slamming face with wolfrider better ? where's hench clan thug ????
There is.
Tar creaper is good to stop your aggro opponent to destroy your minions.
You could replace it, not of our business
First, thank you for posting this deck. I'm a F2P, played a lot of budget Face Hunter before Witchwood so it bores me to death playing long ladder games. I was running Spiteful Priest without Lady In White and it was really hit or miss. This deck though was nuts.
I started playing this deck at rank 18 last night, 6 hours before ladder ends. I managed to get past rank 15 after 4 hours, lost a few game starting out because I was still learning the deck (and Rouge herself, I never played Rouge before this). Anyway, some reviews for people who are looking for a deck:
- I replaced 1x Acherus Veteran with 1x Glacial Shard and 1x Cobalt Scalebane with 1x Vilespine Slayer (I only have 1 & I still like Cobalt Scalebane in the deck, helps increase pressure) and it helped a lot with controlling the table.
- I crafted Baku the Mooneater, had to disenchant a bunch of golden/legendary but I rather toss cards away to build a deck that I can play rather than having useless cards.
1. This deck destroys Odd Pally (4/4 wins). Anything that comes out, your 1 drop/weapon can wrecks it. There's just zero chance for them to setup. Even Pally (2/3) is a little trickier, they can clear table with equality + consecration but as long as they don't get to their minions set up for Lightfused Stegodon, they can't push damage as fast as this deck, just keep some 1 drops on hand in case they clear.
2. Taunt Druid was a big problem (0/2 ). I wasn't able to push through taunt drops without using up minions and just lose out on tempo. Spiteful Druid (1/1) though is doable, taunts from 1-6 mana can be dealt with and by the time Spiteful came out, chances are you already did enough damage for a soon lethal.
3. Tempo Rouge was not hard (1/2 ), I lost a game because I attacked before using Southsea Deckhand and couldn't killed their Hench-Clan Thug, 100% my fault. The other game was a breeze, as long as you have minions on the table, you have the upper hand. Quest Rouge (1/2) needs you to keep table clear and drill face, enough so that they have to deal with you before they finish their quest. Quest Rouge does not runs taunt so spread damage evenly to your minions ( in case of Glacial Shard) and drill face.
4. Quest Warrior (2/3 ) depends on if you/them draw well or not. Same concept like Spiteful decks, you can go through low mana taunts pretty quickly but the longer the game, the lesser chance you'll win.
5. Control Lock (1/2 ) and Cubelocks (2/2 ) wasn't that hard, push face as much as you can, keep a silence for Voidlords/Rin and push damage/control table so that they have to use their spell cards early.
6. Elemental Mage (2/3) was okay, you keep table in your favor and keep pushing damage before he gets big spells/drops. Still, they don't run big Taunts (Probably one Stonehill Defender and 2 Tar Creeper), you can push a good chunk of damage before they can clear your drops. Just be smart with 1 drops so you can test their Secrets.
7. Quest Hunter (2/2) was easy. You can control table and finish the game by the time they finish their quest. Secret Hunter (1/2) can be a bit of a nuisance if you aren't careful but nothing this deck can't handle
8. Spiteful Priest (2/2) is same as Spiteful Druid, you drill enough damage in their face and they'll start sweating by the time they can drop Spiteful Summoner. Haven't seen a Control Priest yet.
9. I haven't played against any Shaman yet, ladder last night was full of Odd/Even Pally and others.
I didn't have Tracker record because I was playing on my phone, but thanks, for making my laddering experience fun again.
I make a strange change in this deck and work.
Cut all 5 drops to make the deck ultra agressive and put Azalina for a B plan.
Many games the opponent have short life and the same resources after playing Azalina.
thats why he said he made a change try taking english class it should improve your ability to read
yeah cut the cards that are underperforming. Acherus veteran, tar creeper, ironbeak owl, marsh drake, fan of knives. Also glacial shards for acherus veterans is a good substitution depending on your local meta.
any room for Vilespine Slayers?
F2p deck... cut what you think will be under performing for the vilespine.
trash deck
Thanks for the video.
Your suggestion for a shadow step as a possible change to enable double Leeroy however might need to be reconsidered :)
Feel free to try it (only one game is needed). I think you will find it's one of the worst possible cards you can put in this deck. The reason should be kinda obvious :P
If I have a Leeroy, should I try to put it in the deck ?
I'm mostly seeing Baku decks with him in here
you can replace 1 marsh drake with 1 SI
I see you went with a more midranged list. I think you should replace fungalmancers with vilespines and keep the archerus veterans so you dont have to mulligan so agressively for one drops.
