New expansion new decks, isn't it? Not at all, I love when Blizzard doesn't forget old archetypes and adding cards for them. So, I tried to build a Quest Shamam fun to play and finally (hope) useful to ranking. I used it to rank 15 from 5 (I'm proud of this deck). I very hope you like it, 'cause I'm very enjoying Heartstone these days.

Vote + if you like this!

EDIT 1: removed 1 Hex and 1 Saronite Chain Gang, added 2 Murloc Tidehunter for speed up the quest and early board control (VIDEO UPDATED).
EDIT 2: removed the other Saronite Chain Gang, added Zap!

EDIT 3: new video with the edit 2!
Edit 3: removed Totem Cruncher, added Mana Tide Totem!

Match Up

  • Bad: Quest Warrior, Zoo Warlock, Odd Paladin, Control Warlock, Plague Druid, Tempo Rogue
  • Playable: Quest Shaman, Odd Aggro Rogue, Cube Warlock, Taunt Druid, Control Priest, Spiteful Druid, Even Paladin, Midrange Hunter
  • Good: Quest Rogue, Quest Paladin, Elemental Mage, Quest Druid, Odd Hunter, Quest Hunter, OTK Shaman, Combo Priest, Spiteful Priest, Aggro Mage

Mulligan

  • Against Bad Match Up: At the mulligan, I suggest to discard the quest against super aggro deck and Control Warlock or Taunt Druid, and to try a full aggro mode. You will not win because of quest. You can search  for Murloc Tidecaller, Lightning Storm, Primalfin Totem, Rockpool Hunter, Flametongue Totem and pray to god (or to opponent's weakness). Instead, if you are against slow decks like Taunt Druid or Quest Warrior, keep in hand the quest and cards like Brrrloc and Ice Fishing.
  • Against Playable Match Up: Keep in mind: this isn't a completely aggro deck, you have strong cards for the late game too and spells boardclear. Really choice cards are Saronite Chain Gang, Ice Fishing and all others cards for the early board control (Primalfin, Tidecaller, Rockpool, Brrrlock). I suggest you to hold the quest.
  • Against Good Match Up: Play the quest at first turn, keeping a strong control on the board (Lightning Storm and Hagatha the Witch aren't necessary for the beginning).

Combo

  1. Ghost Light Angler w/ Hagatha the Witch (For a full hand of spells)
  2. Ghost Light Angler w/ Unite the Murlocs (Use this card when you have 6 or 8 mana to complete the quest)
  3. Primal Talismans w/Bloodlust (You of course know why)
  4. Brrrloc w/ Saronite Chain Gang w/ Megafin w/ Shudderwock (Freeze board, summon 2-3 6/6, refill your hand, that's all I can tell)
  5. Murlocs w/ Gentle Megasaur (Adapting it's great)
  6. Murlocs w/ Murloc Warleader (Most of good matchs up end at 5-6 turn)
