With Xixo's win in the Seatstory cup, a lot of players have been wanting to play his Dragon Priest deck that features the Spiteful Summoner package. Since many F2P players do not have the Karazhan package to obtain a Netherspite Historian, I made a list that is just as effective, but can be easily obtained (only 5 epics!).

The changes in the deck:

-without the historians, the deck is missing key 2 drops that create tempo and value from the early to late game. Therefore, we have included some 2-drops that create value in terms of the deck: Faerie Dragon, Plated Beatle, and Acidic Swamp Ooze.

-Faerie Dragon because it's a dragon and is untargetable, so helps your tempo early game against decks with removal.

-Plated Beatle because of the nice 2/3 body that can last long and the 3 armor-gain that can help heal you when you're too busy stacking the board for tempo to have enough mana to heal

-Acidic Swamp Ooze because of the abundance of weapons in this meta. Guaranteed to be able to use its effect in almost all games.

-a Bone Drake was added for the dragon draw from its deathrattle, since Netherspite is out.

-Spellbreaker to silence annoying minions, especially all the annoying taunts in this meta

-a second Twilight Drake instead of Cobalt Scalebane, because its a dragon and curving into a 4-drop would create more tempo, since this deck lacks real plays at 4.

-no Bonemare (I know, Whatttttt?????!!! Are you crazy????), but hear me out. With the expensive Spiteful Summoner Package that features 4 huge spells and an 8-mana Grand Archivist, the last thing we needed was a clogged hand in the early game against aggro. I'm all for Bonemare late game, when it has immense power, but I couldn't afford to cut out the package, so it went in favor of making the early curves smoother (the lack of Netherspite Historians indirectly lead to this).

-only 1 Corridor Creeper because of really not much reason. If you have the dust, you can craft a second one to replace Bone Drake. In terms of versatility, Bone Drake wins, but in terms of board, control, and tempo, Corridor Creeper is your guy.

How To Play:

-get board, mulligan for 2-drops and stuff that can be played early on, tempo and pushing face and trading like aggro decks are key to a victory.

-mulligan how you feel the matchup may play out. most of the times you might have to ditch the spiteful summoner because you need the board against aggro decks, or you might ditch the Duskbreaker because your opponent is control.

-stealing cards is vital. they give you options and that extra card(s) might be the deciding factor.

-there are common interactions in the deck that are mostly unknown to many, but that's a secret only for fellow Spiteful Dragon Priest players! ;)

Feel free to submit changes or sub whatever works best for you. I would love for any feedback that you guys might have. Happy grinding! (jk grinding sucks)
