I would love this card if they added the text: "(Costs 2 mana less if you do not have any friendly minions)"
Seeing as Hunter has historically been a class that requires heavy minion decks due to a lack of good removal, I think this would keep things balanced. It gives Hunter a decent removal card, but it's expensive if the Hunter is ahead, and cheaper if they're falling behind. Hunters lack many good come-from-behind mechanics so I think this one would help them greatly. At 5 mana it would be comparable to a more focused but less RNG Brawl. Or you could be ahead and it becomes more of a double Deadly Shot.
I'd love to see it allow you to choose to either pay 7 and destroy their left and rightmost minions OR pay 3 to destroy the left and rightmost minions on both sides. The spell would be much more efficient if you played weak minions on the outside, but comes with the risk of playing into Betrayal,Sudden Betrayal, Meteor, etc.
But hunter would have to think if they did that. Everyone knows Rengar exists to give you the quick and dirty win so your rank goes up and your quests get done.
Notes for the next expansion:
Play against mague... Put your less powerful minion in the middle;
play against hunter put your most powerful minion in the middle.
I'm happy with this card because Blizzard keeps positioning being a thing. Even if the card itself will be popular or not, like Meteor. There are some other ways to get it like burgling with rogue etc. It's existence is enough for me and I want to believe in someone who thinks like me.
Community always forgets that some cards are created for their existence because there are too much ways to trigger them on battlefield and the game itself is rng-based.
Also it is a technical card which forces your oppenent to think more about minions he/she summons.
Anyway; cool card but will not see play in current hunter decks and current meta. Hunters need to be fast and like always meta is mid-range/aggro based. I know You will say "Highlander Shadowpriest" or sth. like that but minions not a real treat in these decks so this card will see less play even if it is cool or not.
I can see why they nerfed Call of the Wild to 9 after seeing this card being added to standard. Being able to clear your opponents board with a board clear that's almost impossible to play around and set up for a turn 8 call would just B gg for any class.
Remembers me of Dark Bargain.
I'm not understanding why people think this card is so bad. I'm looking at a really easy answer to Bonemare, or any other large minions, that doesn't involve me trading off my beasts. I don't think I'd put 2 copies into my deck, but I'll definitely try out one.
it's a win more card
Effective when you can control the board
You'll have more control.
But if you fall behind. Your enemy just have to play around and this card is just useless
So how the hell does 2 colliding walls have to do with Hunters?
Maybe this hunter really gets into making traps.
Hunter is stuck between them
I've seen enough hentai to know where this card's art is going
Now I have to position my minions against Hunters in case of an idiot who plays this card.
Sure you can, just make sure all the minions you play are shit so you don't worry if they're destroyed!
