You're going to lose if you play this vs mill decks...due to your hand getting full much more easier then ever but yeah if the copied cards are useful then its ok
Although its effect seems slow and nonaggressive, this card is good when your game is about to stalemate and neither sides are scoring a killing blow very soon. You opponent can't BGH it, and are very prone to leave it be for a couple of turns, because it's only 6 attack for 8 mana, presenting slightly less combat threat than most other heavy legendary minions.
Besides, this might be the cheapest legendary Dragon card a player can get, and an 8-drop Dragon. That makes everybody like it.
Good Card
He is I-N-S-A-N-E! A game winner card for sure if the opponent doesnt have any answer for him!
You can play a Burrowing Mine to avoid it blowing up in your face. You can even trigger combo with it XD
I'm. Wondering if a golden chromaggus make the copies golden too.
I think it will if you compare all the golden priest copy cards, as well as a golden faceless manipulator.
After Emperor Thaurissan -> Chromaggus + Arcane Intellect!
The real second Paladin legendary.
In all honesty however, while Paladins are most likely to play this card, it should fit well into almost any control deck in almost any class. Drawing two cards every turn is huge, and as a bonus it's just outside of Big Game Hunter's reach. And besides, what control deck wouldn't want two copies of Sylvanas Windrunner or Loatheb, or even a third copy of Antique Healbot?
I'd run this in a pally deck with 2x Solemn Vigil. It'll probably be too slow in other decks, though.
Would this guy stack if I used some faceless manipulators???
Yes, since it's a different minion, just like Kel'Thuzad's effect, if there are 2 on the board, the board will be revived twice, since there are 2 KTs
Yes it does stack. Facelessed it once and ended up with 2 chromaggus on the field and 2 yseras on the field and 2 yseras on my hand. Priceless.
I'm not sure whether to keep the Twilight Drakes in my Dragodin deck. This guy could make them monsters though, but that's not a reliable combo. Pally doesn't have amazing card draw.
A competitively viable, but somewhat un-impressive curve topper for most control decks. Pretty good in Paladin, but playing Dragon Consort comes at the opportunity cost of Quartermaster/Loatheb/Harrison/Belcher/Healbot, so overall, it's actually not that much better in Paladin compared to other classes.
Realistically, this card will be a good upgrade/alternative for certain builds that are currently running Sneed's, Kel'Thuzad, and/or Ysera. It'll definitely pop up in high ranked play, but I wouldn't expect it to become popular.
If you use Holy Wrath with Chromaggus out will it deal double dmg?
Nice insight.
I don't think so, but Iron Juggernaut mine should.
:D
This puts the new card in your hand, it's not drawing it from your deck, so the second mine should not explode.
