Actually you can use this in a priest deck
Play this on turn 1, Coin, Power Word Shield and you have a 2/5 on board.
Leave this Strategy to Forsen
Then you Purify on turn 2.... oh wait..
mana wyrm works, so why not this? Can give tempo mage a substitute if they don#t get the wyrm in their opening hand.
Simply a solid one drop neutral. as good as it gets.
Voidwalker? Is that you?
WoW is chocked full of reused character models, heck, even Baron Geddon is shaped like a Voidwalker.
Rating: Lowly Squire or Alternate reality mana Wyrm
New Archetype: Tempo Mage or some other spell heavy deck that plays one drops and it wants to buff with spells.
For the Meta: Tempo Aggro
Power Level: Fair to Good - Could get out of hand...Probably won't though...this is a 1 drop with decent stats and an effect...It's going to be really really good and I'm going to hate life because of it aren't I? lol...maybe not this time, also why test fate. If it is good it will be cancer, why even print it.
Theory Craft: Tempo Mage
Fun: Sure Mana Wrym and Bizzaro Mana Wrym
I think that is a better way to judge a card to look at all aspects it has on the game
The Mana Wyrn inverted :D Pretty nice in spells deck, like tempo... I like it pretty much. And as I read above, in priest decks...
Let's make coin more OP.
But the coin isn't OP....
Pretty great. Good synergy with Backstab and early game Innervate plays?
Should be not bad for the Priest. I mean: this + coin + Power Word: Shield = 2/5 on turn 1. Worth a shot!
Almost want to try this out as Mana Wyrm 3 and 4 in Tempo Mage, but it's probably not worth it.
Poop unless you're playing a deck that can reliably play 2 spells on turn 2.
You've just described Tempo Mage, my friend.
And to be fair, 2/1 is vanilla stats for a 1-drop. Getting even one proc off this ability gives you a more situational Enchanted Raven, which is still a considerable body on Turn 2.
I don't think Tempo Mage wants this when they have Mana Wyrm, seems like a downgrade :) Aggressive decks tend to prefer attack over health.
The thing is that it can be very powerful in classes that can buff (Priest and paly) Which allow some realy good stuff with coin and buff
It would be great in Priest if they got a new cheap attack buff. A 2/whatever is just not big enough to kill anything significant.
