You guessed it right. You can no longer play it in standard format after the first expansion next year is released.

This card is honestly terrible for rogue. The 2/2 knife would be good early game, but by the time you actually get to play Justicar Trueheart, come turn 6ish, the additional attack doesn't really help. A better replacement rogue power would be the beta hero power: if you have a weapon, give it +1 attack, otherwise equip a 1/2 dagger. I don't think it'd be as OP as it was back then, and it would help rogues push into their endgame faster.
Control Warrior is going to have a tough time when this rotates out.
This is just broken in control warrior, good game balancing blizzard,
Can you make this work with Shadowform? Being able to stack them would be pretty fun too. Also haven't tried yet but hope it works with Charged Hammer.
Weeeell, perhaps it shouldn't say "starting", js :)
Girl i wanna make you work so bad.
crafted her for my hunter deck , auto included her in other decks as well ...
warriors and priests get "4" in their hero powers , while hunters get 3 , the reason is hunter's hero power is offensive , while priest/warriors are defensive . and logic is cost of defensive spells are way less then their offensive counterparts . this explains it (also , hunter's hero power ignores taunt , so add that up to the reasoning)

Battlecry: Gain 50 armor. If you have more than 20 health, win the game.
play dragon pally, you'll outlast them using justicar against them.
Angry aggro-loser.
I have a weapon based rouge deck and i am wondering if i should use justicar trueheart in it for further weapon buffs on top of spiteful smith, buccaneer, southsea squidface and deadly poison. Is it worth it or should i use a sunwalker to stay alive, or something like that. Until now i have used mukla, tyrant if the vale and he has served me well.
Tell me a single legendary that nobody is complaining about

Why is this not played in Freeze Mage? I thought Fireblast rank 2 would be pretty good for board control and might allow you to save Frost Novas or FLamestrikes.
I really wish the effect for this card when a warlock plays it was something like "Deep Tap: Take 3 damage and draw two cards." Then, it might see some play in decks that are not just warrior, priest, and paladin. :)
It definitely sees play in control paladin
