fun? It's zoolock card. It's one of the first cancer signals about new meta. If they give discard\zoo burst face spells or buffs like PO or stupidly broken 1-2 drops we are fu*ed.
What happens if you discard this card?
When you play a quest, I'm pretty sure it stays above your face like a secret, so you can't discard it.
But that's if you play it from your hand.

Anima Golem viable?
Man...I might shave off some of the gold I've been saving up in the long grind for Un'Goro and start going through Karazhan more just to land on Malchezaar's Imp for the sake of this. Well, realistically maybe not, but getting a free 3/2 on board every single turn for the rest of the game is just ridiculous if you can drag out the game as a Discolock. Let's just hope we'll be able to drag things out with the threat of Pirate Warrior...

Let's give discardzoo infinite resources concistendly at turns 5-7.What can go wrong right?
Anyway even if this scares me,i will definately craft it and mess around with a slow midrange demonlock.
I first thought this card was trash, but the more I look at it, the better it becomes. In Discolock, you naturally of course have a lot of cards which Discard, as well as Malchezaar's Imp and Silverware Golem (yes, SG will count towards the total). Even Deathwing works well with this. The Nether Portal, while very slow, does produce a lot of value over time and can get really annoying for your opponent to deal with.
So, despite my rather bad first impressions, this card honestly doesn't seem that bad to me and has some potential.
This will actually be one of quest cards I'm certain will be used. I mean at first I was like "But we are loosing Fist of Jarraxus and 6 mana discard 2 to kill 2", but then I realized there are actually enough cards for this to work out.
turn 1 - quest turn 2 - Succubus or Darkshire Librarian turn 3 - ...probably a spell or minion we haven't seen yet. Maybe Malchezaar's Imp and another 2 drop or tap turn 4 - Lakkari Felhound turn 5 - Doomguard
and then you are either done or almost done. While you had really big early drops you also earn a portal which gives you 3/2 imps each turn
I actually did play that. I know that odds of getting such a start are not that great, but I believe it might be enough cards for such thing to work. Or should I say "hope" it will work. Really like the idea of discardlock and while we "kinda" did have that with really agro warlock, I surely won't mind more support.
