Eventually, when there are more than just 2 mediocre discard synergy cards, this will see play.

I admit, I voted "Dust it" initially, but I've re-evaluated my opinion on this card.

Don't think of this as a 3/2 minion that makes you lose a card. Think of it like an unpingable Loot Hoarder, yeah you discard a card but, it's not the card you wanted, you advance your game plan and put pressure on your opponent. As opposed to spending 2 mana and 2 life and doing nothing, you're getting a 3/2 minion instead, the value!

It is less powerful than other discard a card Warlock cards like Soulfire or Doomguard. Playing for a long game doesn't really go with the warlock hero power or class cards.

Loot Hoarder: -1/-1, draw a card. Darkshire Librarian: Discard a card, draw a card. Succubus: +1/+1, Discard a card. With only 2 cards having positive effects from discarding (Tiny Knight of Evil, getting +1/+1 again, and Fist of Jaraxxus), this won't be used on the meta.

Sounds crappy. But actually....I already have a deck with Fist of Jaraxxus and Tiny Knight of Evil full of discard effects which is really fun and to some extend even works... This one will fit just perfectly!

If it was "battlecry: return a random card in your hand to the deck" , it would see a lot of play.

Card is actually not as bad as everyone thinks. It's good for a mid-range warlock which doesn't really exist unless you're in Arena. It could be risky if you discard your 3 or 2 (if you coined this out), but sometimes you get terrible draws and this card lets you redraw 1 (random) card. I'd probably pick it over Bloodfen Raptor (and feel real dumb when it discarded my yeti).

Warlocks always discard nothing though, from an empty hand.  Warlocks have been abusing this discard exploit since Hearthstone was invented.  Even with that exploit in place, this card is not that good honestly.  Maybe for a rushlock or handlock that got a bad mulligan.  But that's about it.

Warlocks only ever discard nothing from an empty hand.  That mechanic has been abused this way since the day HS was invented.

You lose one and dig for one

It works with the tiny evil imp that gains 1/1 on discard, but seriously though this and doom give warlocks the chance to ignore their hero power and be more careless with their cards, since on an empty hand both this card and doom would become quite strong.
