I really enjoy Alexstrasza as a card. It's quite versatile in that it can be used defensively or offensively... if a rush deck has got you to anywhere between 1-10 hp, and is hoping to finish you with a topdeck - this card puts you in instant safety. When used offensively, you can turn your 15 damage board into a kill that turn. More likely though, you use it with even a 6-10 damage board to put your opponent too low to deal with Alexstrasza and the other minions, recover the health deficit, and put up a good enough board to threaten you. I use it personally in the Shaman control/midrange deck I achieved Legend with this season. Here's the link, if you would like to try it out!

Very good card.. I love..
I feel like the artists got a little bit too good when making the gold version of this card, i mean really I think it's the reason to play Warior control. Also a good reason to spend $500 until you get it.
i bought a few decks for $10 and got two of em.... $500 is if you want a golden one lol.
This Card is best used in a warlock deck in my personal opinion cause you can level the playing field with it or get yourself back in the fight. its also good for when u got enough damage to end the game and you drop him on your opponet. :)
Got Golden Alexstrasza In a pack from arena today, so excited!!! My first card pack legendary, and it's GOLDEN!
It's one of the best looking golden cards too :)
Alexstrasza is my favorite. The art reflects just how much damage it does! scary... XD
Alexstrasza is spelled wrong in the flavor text!
Alexstrasza has gotta be my favourite because im a huge lore buff and read all the books. her storyline is my fav out of all of them
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder, Aspect of the red dragonflight, is the guardian of all life in the world of Azeroth. She was one of five great dragons (alongside Deathwing, Malygos, Nozdormu, and Ysera) chosen by the titans to be empowered with a portion of the Pantheon's power and rule over her flight while they watched over Azeroth and its inhabitants. The titans also appointed her queen of all dragons.
thanks for the lore flux! awesome
