not to mention that I think the "reveal 2 cards" is one of the dumbest mechanics in the game that take skill and creativity out of the game. Arguably worse than the "if your hand is empty" mechanic. Benifits net decks vs inventive decks because it prevents atypical decks from hiding part of their strategy. imagine playing something like murloc mage and hiding the fact that you're using murlocs the whole game by playing normal cards, then waiting for the right turn to play your murlocs with echo of medivh or something. Nope, can't do that because of "reveal 2 cards". They shouldn't use gimmicky RNG cards like this to slow the game down. They should slow the game by combining cards like sunfury protector and ancient watcher. Taunts with "can't attack" that you can play without wasting 2 card slots and requiring a combo
Actually, while you're partly right, the chance to fail is also not as high as you think. Remember, only minions from each deck are revealed, so things like Holy Light, Seal of Light, etc. won't hurt it. And the extra stats on the body means that this can probably stick around long enough to help take out an extra minion or two, which the healbot usually can't do.
you got a good point since this card becomes even worse vs controll decks but try to think it this way since in the early game you will play the low cost minions the chance to get them on the joust is reduced also if and only if there is a type of deck that plays with spells to get early game board controll you have a 5 5 that heals for 7 and that is rly good if you put this card on the existing midrange pally instead of healbot you have 60% to heal against face hunter and 42% against controll warrior and handlock since even if you draw the juost it counts as a defeat i would rly love that this card sees some play but probably even if you build a deck around the joust mechanic the percentages are 2 low to be viable in constructed
youre right, thanks for pointing that out! Yeah it would probably be good then, because the deck is mostly spells, and a couple of big cards like tirion and guardian of kings. I still think it's a travesty that the joust mechanic is in the game though. By far my least favorite thing about this game. The fact that it's RNG based is bad enough, but that it shows your opponent what's in your deck is disgusting. Takes so much fun and strategy out of the game.
The thing about Paladin as a class it usually wins the game through high value minions and tempo turns. Drawing into a holy light during the late game is often dead in most matchups. Having the 5/5 will rarely be bad and have the potential to be very good. I think this card will definitely replace antique healbot in control paladin and possibly midrange paladin as well.

I smell holy wrath synergy, play this with strictly >4 cards, not bad it actually gives an incentive to play a slower deck, which is what we've wanted. However RNG can screw you making it not overpowered yet discouraging the play of low cost cards. VERY smart game design, atleast with these few cards other than that ive been less than impressed.
Also the heal for the late game at a 5 mana cost is a sustain play like heal bot, with a considerably low tempo loss compared to other healing cards

Awesome in a high costed echo mage deck
This card in the current Paladin midrange or control is a really good card. Antique Healbot Deluxe.
It follows the most solid 'statline' in the game, 5 for 5/5(almost all 5/5 for 5 or 6 mana are played in a lot of decks), it get's an insight into your opponents deck(he to yours as well) and about a 50/50 heal that comes with it which makes it a powerful drop to regain your tempo versus aggression or if your a turn behind(just look at Shieldmaiden, Loatheb, Sylvanas Windrunner for the 5/5 'Statline' comparison and value of play).
Fantastic pickup for Paladins. Comes with minor risk if you run standard curve of Paladin. It will definitely see play in constructed.
This and the new pali legendary are definitely pushing a very slow fatigue pali. This guy is great in a slow deck even if it doesnt get activated a 5/5 body for 5 is nothing to cry over and he will be activated against aggro almost every-time when you need it. Id run 2 of these guys in control paladin for sure. Great card will definitely see play.
How can you say no to that turtle? Look at its face! You need to include this card in your deck!
