So if you compare this to Mark of the Wild you have to buff a demon and you are only getting +1/+1 extra stats at the cost of giving your opponent a mana crystal? Nah i'm good.
It is even worse than that. considering that it the taunt it gives is equal to a singular stat, I am going off the idea that all spare parts are equal, then mark of the wild is give a minion +5 stats. Demon fuse makes you give your opponent an extra mana crystal for +1 worth of stats. You also can only target allied demons, which on it's own is enough of a drawback to be equal to that +1 stat. In conclusion, Blizzard added a unneeded drawback to a card that I don't think would have gotten play even if it didn't have one.
Giving mana crystals to your opponent is the worst thing you can possibly do, thats the main reason Grove Tender doesn't see play. I can't imagine why would you want to play this. I'm kinda sad this won, i was hoping to see the priest spell. Oh well... :(
Grove Tender is a staple of mill decks. And it's a terrible comparison anyway because Grove Tender also gives you a mana crystal. A better comparison would be Arcane Golem, which does see play. So, in conclusion, a card that gives your opponent a mana crystal, like Arcane Golem, can be viable. Demonfuse will not see play, though. Even worse than Felguard.
Mill decks don't use Grove Tender for the mana crystal. My point is, if you can't give your opponent a mana crystal even when you're also gaining one, you can't possibly give them one just to buff one of your minions. Also Arcane Golem downside is irrelevant most of the time, since you're playing him in a face deck or as a finisher in combo.
I dont see why everyone has to drag on about the downside of giving the enemy 1 mana crystal. Just dont play it pre turn 7 and youre fine. Turn 7 DoomguardDemonfuse trades 2 for 1 with giants with little to no downside, and it keeps your Doomguard out of ping range to boot. People spend too much time looking at how a card can be terrible and not enough looking at how it can synergize. I would play this in a Demon Lock deck just because they wouldnt be expecting the turn 7 8/10 charge minion because everything thinks this card is trash.
You mean the turn 7 5/7 Charge Minion that discarded your Demonfuse, that wasn't worth including in the deck in the first place, and could have instead been a card was useful on turn 5-7 while you're thinking youre really slick loosing tempo to pull off a shitty combo.

Cool. Another downer who always looks at the worst possible scenario, you must feel like such a HS pro.
Such trash. Such garbage. Such waste of a good card art.
A nerf to Nefarian.
GARBAGE ALERT
wish it was "Give a Demon +3/+3. Destroy one of your Mana Crystals.
Garbage. Utter garbage.

+4+4 would be to much cancer and still unplayable bc a minion (golem) is always better than a buff
Almost as good as Sacrificial Pact...

The bad Warlock cards are back.
The demon must take down 2 guys to make the cards worth imo.
EDIT:Maybe if it was a minion instead of a demon it could be better, but maybe aggro demon could be a thing.
Demonfire is better IMO
In everyone with a brains opinion also
Was kind of hoping for... literally anything else. Less versatile Demonfire that's only slightly better with a significant drawback? I'll pass.
