- If you cast Inner Rage on your own Fjola, the Divine Shield appears and is broken. It essentially absorbs the Inner Rage damage. (Source)
Whenever you target this minion with a spell, gain Divine Shield.
LOVES being called "the wonder twins".

By the way, this + Dark Wispers is pretty silly. 9 mana: 8/9, Taunt, Divine Shield. Since it's a 2 card combo, Emperor Thaurissan would reduce it to 7 potentially. On curve that would be devastating since your opponent would presumably use a card or 2 to remove Thaurissan.
It will be a easy big game hunter target.
To people wondering about what resolves first,
The card says it gets divine shield when you target it, which implies that the divine shield resolves before the spell you cast triggers.
For example if you try to Wrath it, it would get the bubble before taking the 1 damage. In short, 2 mana draw a card.
Not sure why you would want to make such a play, but there's your explanation.
If I know this mechanism correctly, it is not triggered when the opponent casts a spell on this. "You" refers to the player who played this card. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Edit: Well, i guess i didn't know right since I read some of the posts.
You're right, the wording in my comment was vague but it assumes you understand that it's only in cases in which the controller is casting spells on it.
No because silence is played first, it's the same situation as silence on wild pyro.
This card makes me happy to see. Not just because I can't wait to try these two with priest but I might start including my golden blood knight to a few decks lol - we'll have to see if divine shield minions become more of a thing again in decks other than paladin.
Just curious..,.. will the divine shield come before spell is complete or after? .... like is I wrath it will it get 1 dmg and then gain shield or gain shield and lose it because of wrath?
Or if it is at 1 health will it die because of wrath or gain shield and then lose it?
Minion shuold trigger before spell. That's how "whenever" works in this game.
Rockbiter Weapon, attack, Windfury, attack. Works like double Fireball.
Artworks and idea is good. But are they worth to legendary ? I think epic would be good.
Not only power but i think power effects too. Rag, boom , alextrazsa etc. is so so powerfull. There is so good rares , epics too.
Spare Parts!!
Funny, I interpreted that you the hero would get the divine shield, am I wrong?
Yes you totally are...
Check cards like Cobalt Guardian, Murloc Tidecaller for the wording~
If I get this I shall give it Divine Shield and see if it gets a divine shield 0_o
Really nice one, I like the artwork and the fact it is a low mana cost Legendary :)
Right now I can only see it being used on Aggro Paladin, let's see what people can come up with :D
also good in shaman or priest
Blood Knight will have a greater impact in Aggro Pala decks with it.
Good card, I think it's partner is a bit better though.
