The denizens of Azeroth have no idea how much work goes into stabilizing portals. We spend like 30% of GDP on portal upkeep.

The card is not overpowered, it's literally drawing from every minion in the game. Just because you get something good played against you doesn't mean it's OP. You seem to react in a way that exaggerates every lucky portal but you ignore every unlucky portal because of your confirmation bias. A 2 mana card that can be efficient by 1 mana that draws any random card does not mean you lose the game when you see one being used.
Yea maybe it's drawing from all minions but certanly not with equal chance. Legendary draw rate is absolutely ridiculous.
My current best UP play: In arena, UP --> Harrison Jones to take out opponent's Sword of Justice.
Even shitty Hemet created by portal was very useful in arena just right after opponent played a beast. RNGesus.
My Unlucky Unstable Portal Pull, but that's the fun of it :D
If the probability of each minion to be selected is the same, there are about 80% chance to get a minion costing more than 2 mana.
Getting a 0-cost minion is really really unlucky. :P
Warlock/Mage spell: Stable portal. Ten mana. First legendary spell. Choose a minion. Put it into your hand.
On topic: LOOOOOOL. Op as heck. Mal'Ganis + Master of Disguise = you need double flamestrike or flare to win AT ALL.
Buff that spell, Stable Portal: Choose two minions and add them to your hand, they cost (10) less
You know the odds of this are 1 in 136900?
am i the only one thinking : WHY ISNT IT NERFED YET WTF!!!!!!!!!!!
:P
Got Hemmet, the black knight, Tirion, Alextrasza and nat pagle plus some normal minions so far, love the card. It makes mage so much more fun to play. Then again i also got 3x wisp in one day and a target dummy...
Edit: I just got sneed's old shredder that gave me a grommash when it died, needlessly to say i won.
I just Killed a mage, as a priest using Grommash Hellscream thanks to Thoughtstealing this card.
I really wish sometimes Hearthstone had a player face camera, I can't begin to think what his reaction would of been.
I got harrison jones the turn after my opponent played jaraxxus
11/10 would cast again.
This card is so shit....
once I get http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/356-elven-archer
next time http://www.hearthpwn.com/cards/339-millhouse-manastorm
just hate that card,
would be so useful if that card would take one of your card from your deck...
The Idea is to have randomness in GvG also your not seeing this card for what it is.
If you get at least a 3 mana drop you have got profit (hell sometimes a decent 2 mana drop is worth it) some times yes you do get unlucky but your not trading a card for free.
Anything 3 mana plus you gain tempo on your next turn (or this turn if its super late or you can drop it this turn)
That one damage from elven archer may of been useful and who doesn't like a 1 mana 4/4 late game when your opponent has no cards in hand.
Played against a mage and he ended up drawing lord jaraxxus
was it hobbes? that happened to me once
This card is insane. It either gets you something small which you cast that same turn, something medium which you cast the next turn for a huge tempo swing, or something huge for later which either wrecks them or burns off the last of their removal before your deck's regular finisher shows up.
I severely underestimated this card at first. Expect to see it in almost every Mage deck unless it gets nerfed — and I don't think it will.
This card is insane! Pure fun! I like it very much!
I'd love to see some Mage class challenge with this card! Like the hunter one with only the web spiders. Imagine this! 30 cars and only unstable portals, that'd be fun! :D :D :D
