This card is, in a vacuum, above average; compare with the previously overpowered and ubiquitous Flanking Strike and the playable Unleash the Beast, as well as the very overstatted Fire Elemental. Since this is a rogue spell, it even gets the bonus of inherent spell synergy in rogue. Where it's lacking is that it's just not unfair enough due to power creep, and too much of the card's power is reactive as opposed to proactive. It will, however, almost certainly have a place in value rogue, once that deck receives more tools in future expansions.

Terrible in a vacuum, good when combined with Swiftscale Trickster

Seems pretty bad. Poor value for the cost.
