only good in a warrior CHARGE otk deck.
use this..then play minions with charge and suck..go face, win.
Molten Giant being 20/20 is fun but it just looks like a meme card that will never work
Lot of combo potential, but this is insanely slow though.
Broken as hell. Hits the deck on 5 like Nourish. Giants and Grom go to 20+ attack, Outift Tailor 5/5 + 5 stats boost. Fleshshaper and silverfury go to 16 health taunt. If you cant tutor this just play ETC, dredge or draw it with warrior insane draw cards. If the opponent cant deal with the minions you win the game. Remoria turns into infinite damage weapon.
Not really broken but better than i thought when i initially read the card.. its good, but certainly not insane.
Main problem is it buffs only deck. So it's not that fast even if you play this early
That's like saying Vanndar Stormpike was broken. Spoilers: as a legendary - it rarely hit the board on 4, and having to draw the minions afterwards to actually use them was hugely inhibitive.
Also, since this is a spell Warrior has no real way to tutor it, further lowering consistency.
At this point i was expecting a card saying "For the rest of the game your charge minions have +1 attack"
played on curve is pretty strong, but idk if warrior has a way to draw this consistently, and its kinda useless against aggro, so i dont think its be playable on competitive levels, but above diamond, where the decks are very greedy, this card has potential to be one of the best.
"Rest of game" sounds scary but this really is the same as all the other failed legendary effects. Deck of Lunacy/Luna's Galaxy were the only ones that were played because the effects were so broken that they overcame the "draw this early or lose" issue. Topior had a brief moment but only because druid has half of its deck be redundant card draw.
Deck of Chaos never saw play, because it was too restrictive in terms of deck building. You had to use otherwise bad minions (with high cost and low attack) and cross your fingers to play DoC on curve, before you draw any of your key minions.
This one however allows you to play any minion you want, with no additional restrictions. So if the game gets slow enough, you can put it in just for extra value.
Sorry I meant lunacy. Got the names mixed up.
Deck of Lunacy was used because it implicitly gave mana cheat. Mana cheat is what drives this game now, not huge stats. There's so much hard removal and silence in the game now stats barely matter, only "How much can I get out early"
I think many people are overlooking that this card may instead see play as a tech option with the new ETC
I'm wondering what exactly this sort of effect needs to hit Luna's Pocket Galaxy level where it's actually playable. LPG was two turns slower but scammed out the game in a few turns. Buffed Remornia, Living Blade or Silverfury Stalwart/Fleshshaper with Last Stand do win some games on the spot. But the game is also different than it was when LPG was good. We'll have to see. We also haven't seen any other warrior cards.
Luna's Pocket Galaxy was played because it gave mana cheat. That's what makes things playable and why these "give huge boosts to stats" rarely work out. (Except Embiggen)
At 5 mana it is really strong if you can find a way to increase the odds of playing it on 5.
Give Warrior a way to tutor Fire spells and we might be talking.
In the right deck, say Charge Warrior, this can be very strong. Grommash Hellscream will be 18/17 and Mr. Smite will become 13/12 (plus other pirates...), Captain Galvangar will be 15/15 and so on.
2 of those 3 are rotating. Wild is dealing with big priest and secret mage that won't allow a deck like that to live long enough to pull off those combos.
