- Fixed a tracking issue that prevented 500 wins with Demon Hunter from being achieved.
- Fixed a bug where Zephrys the Great would not offer a lethal option if your hero had a large amount of Attack.
- Zephrys the Great has been updated to accommodate the Sacrificial Pact and Glaivebound Adept changes.
I've noticed I've been winning more games against Mage, maybe it's still overtuned but Even Shaman can really capitalize on the tiny bit of extra time the nerfs give even though sometimes the rest of the cards in that deck allow it to basically ignore the nerfs. It's not perfect, but it's certainly better than before.
Makes sense, lol
Yes man, I thought about it, but come on, let's be serious.
1) It only absorbs 5 dmg
2) it makes my deck worse and way less consistent.
Shouldn't players be compensated for all those nerfs? Most of us spent too much dust for the most important cards that have already been double(!) nerfed. It's Blizzard's fault for making DH overpowered , not ours.
Not a single Demon Hunter card in this patch is craftable, they're all free. You didn't spend any dust unless you decided to unnecessarily craft them in Golden, in which case you'd still get a full 3200 dust refund in the case of Altruis, for example.
I agree with most of your statement. But that part just isn't true. There is always Grizzled Wizard
Yes, it is a dead card against practically everything else, but there IS counterplay to at least part of the damage.
uh, frenzied felwing gives full dust after all!
I just got legend with this deck (from diamond 4 score 14-3)

Class is strong.
I got maiev from pack and I use her as budget kayn.
Deckbuilder existed for a reason you know?
Please nerf Skull of Guldan more. I actually dont mind DH having tons of strong early drops and aggressions. Its the draw cards especially Skull of Guldan that makes DH ridiculously overpowered. You cant have both op early games and hyper draw engines. Starving buzzard flashback anyone?
Starving Buzzard was much worse. There were no Discover cards, Highlander cards, or any sort of decent option against Buzzard. I can understand this reminding you of it because it definitely is powerful, but you have to remember that cards that were seriously busted in early Hearthstone were exceedingly so, since there weren't really any outs that you could include in your deck back then due to the overall lack of cards in the game.
Early HS was a MUCH, MUCH slower game, with less valuable minions and less ways to build a board after a boardclear (hell, at that point barely anyone played 1-drops as 99% of them were considered worthless). Buzzard was op, but not as broken as any DH card as it could be countered by a board clear and only worked decently as a late-mid game combo with hounds that required your opponent to have a decent board. And after that, ANY class could clear the board of 1-health minions for cheap and play something else.
Nerf did nothing. DH is still incredibly strong. I was 19-10 using Rogue vs them, didnt change a single card and I'm now 19-16. By turn 4 they can still put you at 15hp with their crazy strong early game. And if you manage to get the board back, doesn't matter, you still have to get 10 damage from metamorphosis. A card that it's literally impossible to play around. Not to mention Glaivebound Adept, the dumbest nerf ever... Infact is not even a nerf. They dropped atk by one, but who gives a s**t of atk? Did blizzard devs thought I didn't want to take 7 dmg to face, but I'm completely fine taking 6? You HAVE to kill that thing. Make it 6 mana, or target only minion, or lower health to 3, or reduce dmg to 3, FFS.
I still like the game, matches vs anything that isn't DH are actually fun and balanced. I would even dare to say that the remaining 9 classes are balanced. But DH is polarizing the meta in one of the worst states it's ever been. And twin slices it's a huge mistake of a card.
DH is an embarrassment. Blizz should give us refunds
The Bloodbloom nerf just killed my Mecha'Thune deck. So LAME Blizzard!
There's still a possible combo without Bloodbloom.
Actually there’s a better deck that doesn’t required Tharissan ticks. You should learn to adapt
Edit: People think I’m self advertising my deck so I removed it
Sometimes it pays off not to dust Wild cards. I had a Golden Open the Waygate and two Bloodblooms. Thats 4000 dust right there!
I'm a collector - I personally never dust anything given that I'll only get a ~1/4 refund and there might be some really unlikely scenario where I try to use a stupid card at some point.
That said, full refund? Totally got the refund on Bloodbloom and Open the Waygate. Bloodbloom is still technically possible in a Mechathun deck, but needs Drakkari Enchanter to get a double-reduction on it + Mechathun which is a much bigger ask, and the only deck I ever ran Waygate in only ran a couple extra chances at non-starting spells, so going up to 8 makes it far worse for that deck. With a full refund, I can always get them back later. :-)
Yep. Got same combo here. I am glad I didn't find the time to disenchant my wild cards this weekend.
