Spellbreaker died this year but Ironbeak Owl is still
People are sleeping on it because it's horribly bad. You can't use consume magic on friendly minions, and Icehowl without rush is just terrible no matter which way you cut it. As a Demon Hunter, this card doesn't do the most important thing a card has to do to work - hit face.
People are sleeping on this. If big demon demon hunter sees play, this has a chance of going in it so far. With Consume Magic, they also have the best silence card in the game right now, so they could potentially just silence it and smash face for 12. Either way, it's a constant threat on the board.
Silence an enemy minion
I couldn’t disagree more. This feels like original Hearthstone cards to me. More like WoW and less like a child’s cartoon. I dig it.
Broken in arena, trash in constructed. Next.
This thing is sleepy broken. There's going to be ways of cheating, this thing out, and silencing it.
In this meta, 8 mana 12/12 is not good. Power creep.
The art has really went downhill in recent expansions.
It’s a 12/12 that can’t do the one thing you want to do with a 12/12
this gonna look amazing in golden animation
eh.... no. Except: Bane of Doom is the biggest winner of the new expansion
Spellbreaker died for this.
Doesn't seem so supreme
Worse Icehowl?
Yes but is a common card not a legendary trash
Oh damn I didn't realise it was a common. Just assumed it was a legendary
You never put this in your demon hunter deck though. Absolutely never.
This is purely for evolve and summon random effects (particularly summon random demons). I don't think this is really any good even if you can find a way to cheat it out for less mana, since it takes up a deck slot and is utter garbage if you can't cheat it out.
Demon Hunter needs maybe one more option for good big demons for that archetype to take off and this ain't it. It may allow people to play big demon on a budget though.Taking back this statement after re-reviewing DH cards. They can cheat this out several ways, silence it, duplicate it, and bypass taunts. This sounds much more promising. Also, I'm becoming a believer in the silence priest tactic, and in general is boon for Warlock (though probably not going to be slotted into a constructed deck).
Icehowl didn't see play, which practically had rush, so I'm not sure about this one. It at least has a chance with Unsleeping Soul
