Well, that isn’t entirely true... both summon minions when played. Honestly I view this as a defensive Lay on Hands where you get a big taunt minion instead of drawing 3 cards.
the nwe libram cards looks great hope we get more nice cards and a great prime legendary
I'm tired seeing summon a minion with divine shield and taunt. Please make a Libram of Faith: Give your Hero divine shield and taunt!
Taunt is... not... cheat???
Anyone else think this thing started at 8 mana in playtesting, because having all those 8s seems obvious?
Maybe, but the mana cost can be reduced by up to 6, so... I get the feeling this Libram control/midrange deck will be pretty strong. All the Librams are reasonably costed on their own, but with the reductions, they get insanely good really quickly, and the minions that reduce the costs aren't bad on their own. a 2 mana 2/3 and a 5 mana 4/6 taunt are both reasonable without extra effects (in arena; in constructed, extra effects are pretty much always needed).
Even just -1 to this mana cost makes it strong. At 9 mana it's not even a bad card, and you can potentially play it 4 times with Lady Liadrin.
Paladin might end up being a top class this expansion.
I was just thinking "If this was 8 mana this would be broken."
Don't get me wrong, I think it *should* be 9 mana.
But like, this is the Hearthstone team. They love it when all the numbers are the same.
maybe the first design was a 10 cost spell, then Blizzard thought if we play Aldor Attendant and Aldor Truthseeker on curve at 2 and 5, this spell will be on curve at 6 and be like "perfect!! let's print it at 9"
missing card in hands @ 2:08 in the vid "hand of a'dal "
Give a minion +2 / +2 and draw a card
2 mana give a minion +2/+2
That's... that's really good.
Druid used to play Mark of Y'Shaarj, and that only worked on beasts. Paladin has a lot of ways to go wide, so a pretty big chance something will stick, and 1-drop you manage to stick 1st turn becomes really potent. Probably wouldn't be worth it without the card draw, but having even a few draw cards in an aggro deck can go a long way towards having enough gas to win.
Very good with Lynessa Sunsorrow and Primalfin Champion in wild
In the best case scenario this costs only 3 mana, imagine the value...
Lady Liadrin says hello.
Kael'thas Sunstrider new Ziliax ? Every class needs him.
Good thing he's free then.
Very good with the libram cost reduction minions
Lady Liadrin card just became INSANE
Kreygasm when reduced and decent when not
