Many Ogres, Handle It
It looks like we'll be seeing more Ogre cards! We may even see a unique ogre related card for each class. The two new cards today bring out total of Ogre chance to hit a different enemy cards up to three. The last one being a Warrior weapon, Ogre Warmaul. Maybe Hunters will get Unleash the Ogres, or Call for Ogres.
Quote from BlizzardIn Goblins vs Gnomes, many ogres will have the “50% chance to attack the wrong enemy” card text, reflecting their wild and uncontrollable nature. Like previously mentioned, ogres don’t care about what they hit as long as they hit “something,” so their ability can also potentially bypass Taunt and Stealth if one of their wild swings manages to connect. When you see an Ogre on the battlefield, watch out; something is about to get smashed!

Hearthstone History at the Blizzard Museum
Blizzard's Dave Wilson, one of the guys behind @BlizzardCareers, tweeted a collection of photos last night from a Hearthstone section in the Blizzard Museum. Included was a copy of an email between Starcraft II's Game Director, Dustin Browder and Hearthstone Game Designer, Eric Dodds, which showed how well Hearthstone was being received within the company back in 2012.
A gallery of the pictures can be found below, all courtesy of Dave Wilson. You'll find old concept art, some really old Horde and Alliance card backs, and a giant Banana of doom.
The Blizzard Museum looks cool.
Huh? All classes will get legendaries.
It might run it but the visual might not be great to have the perfect gaming experience...
These are specs for Android tablets. iPhones and Android phones will get a unique build early 2015 optimized for smaller screens.
The Iphone app won't be out until "early 2015" said Blizzard a few months back so you will have to wait a bit more i guess...
Not Really... All we know is it's supposed to be out in December, just like GvG.
From that you can widely speculate!
Just received today a commercial newsletter from blizzard talking about GvG so they are still on track for a december release but nothing more precise so far.
I just hope they won't release them on Dec 31...
Well updates are made on tuesday, and people at Blizzard will be off for Xmas holidays so they have to expect to get many hiccups when it's released (shop no longer available, transactions messed up, endless queue...) so they will need time to correct things before leaving the office for a few days.
My bet is either 9th or 16th of December.
That banana though. I need it in my life.
Sad that the HS client is supported on anything smaller than 6in the Galaxy Note. Maybe in the future, not sure how the UI is handled. Looks like I might need to buy a tablet here soon.
You probably can run it on devices smaller than 6 inches. It wouldn't be ideal since it's so small and it probably won't be available for your device in the play store. But if you sideload the apk, it'll probably work on any device.
Probably not playing on my phone, at least not yet. Still not a fan of the 50% chance mechanic. I know the minions/weapons with it are undercosted, I just feel that 50% is gonna hurt more than help.
Banana!

Damn! My tablet has the PowerVR SGX544MP2 GPU. I hope these "graphical issues" is not something game breaking :(
Thanks for the reply deplov! I just thought that 544 refers to a family of chipsets that mine belongs to. Let's hope you are right and i am wrong! :)
yeah! :)
Nexus 7 and Lollipop fully supported! :)
Looks like it!
Just like you i have the Nexus 7 and i was affraid that the game would be messed up with Lollipop (the same way it is on Mac since i upgraded to Yosemite T_T) but it's gonna be just fine :)
These tech specs might indicate that they are very close to releasing the Android Version...
Still pretty interesting to try it out.
Bypassing taunts or hitting Gadgetzans is pretty insane, interesting mechanic and not just a downside it seems.
So then what do you do when the Ogre minions don't hit the stealthed minions, when they don't always hit your ideal target?
How do you build the rest of your deck to account for the slim, but frustrating possibility of the Ogres screwing up every attack?
