Even ''deal 6 dmg to minion'' would be nice. Now aggro mages in wild have two more fireballs. Me Go Face decks always win in this game.

I guess on paper its not OP cause you have to play a 3 cost secret so the math basically works out but it still feels OP considering how many ways mage has to discount the cost of playing secrets and spells in general.
The thing is... Most Damage Spells are actually Overcosted to make up for the fact that they can go face. The higher the Damage, the more is added to the cost, in a similar fashion to Charge Minions.
6 Damage is actually 3 Mana...
This card is 3.5 Mana of Stats, plus 3 Mana Battlecry, leading to a total of 6.5 Mana, therefore cheating you 1.5 Mana and that's insane.
Most of the good Secret Synergies being stuck in Wild, I'm surprisingly okay with this.
Damn, the powercreep in this expansion for some classes is insane.
The fact this can go face is pretty nuts and maybe close to broken. Secret mage will have another 2 fireballs paying 1 mana for a 4/4 body to go with it.
Interesting to compare this to Sunreaver Warmage. They're both 5-mana 4/4s with a conditional damage-dealing battlecry. 6 > 4, but I don't necessarily know how much easier to maintain a secret compared to holding a 5+ mana spell.
Medivh's Valet worked really well because it was cheap and a decent on-curve body. It could be easily played on curve without a secret, and was a lot easier to weave in with secrets in the middle-game. Also, the Valet came along at a time when, IIRC, Ice Block was still in Standard, and Mages had a secret which would go unproc'ed for a long time.
I'm not going to be surprised if this is strong, but I won't be surprised if Cloud Prince doesn't really work.
Wild Secret Mage again broken
Speaking for standard it's quite easy to get and/or have a 5+ cost spell in Shaman. Mage it's a bit tougher considering the cheaper spells are just better for them so far. However it is a nice on curve elemental for arcanosaur trigger on 6. Seems more liek a wild card though like most of the expansions cards.
No, it's 6 damage to face as well. It doesn't say "to a minion" on the card, therefore, it is unlimited.
I think he meant it should be limited to minions.
Really good looking card. I can see myself running two of these with a Barista Lynchen.
not to mention you can discover this off of Messenger Raven.
Taking a look at wild, this would also fit nicely into a deck running Frost Lich Jaina for extra value.

This card and the Arcane Flakmage will make secret burn mage tier 1 in wild!!!
This expansion is broken
Maybe for Wild but it's doing very little for standard.
