Why does everybody here always seem to attack each other when starting a discussion? Chill.
I just thought of 2 very good cards real quick. There's no denying that Reno was in a lot of decks.
A wonderful anti combo, anti control, anti ramp card
I hope you're joking XD
I totally agree with professor
I love it! Finally a way to kick druids in the balls!
If you play this on turn 6 against Druid or Aggro decks, this is outstanding. Against control this really won't make a difference. But i really love the design of this card!
Initially, I also thought that playing this as an aggro player on curve, it would be good.
Surely, against ramping Druids it is indeen an insane tech card.
But suppose you play against a warrior and you go first:
Warrior has 5 mana.
TURN 6, YOU PLAY:
You play this card!... and the enemy warrior still has 5 mana.
If you go second, and play this on curve, it is essentially a Battlecry: Each player destroys one mana crystal which is still meh if you think about the tempo loss of playing a 5/5 on turn 6.
I don't think it is meant to be played in aggro decks, unless it is a day that everyone you run into is a druid.
Druid can use it before to finish to attack with the weapon. He get 10 mana crystals, the opponent 5.
amazing anti-combo card. Gives you a few more turns to counter or kill the 10 mana combo player
Play this on turn 6.
-> You loses a mana crystal
-> Opponent Druid loses 4 mana crystals
EZ game
Huh, I did not realize this was a legendary. Perhaps the only legendary without a proper name?
"Fluffy" names are placeholders.
The Skeleton Knight, Splintergraft, The Mistcaller, Face Collector?
Splintergraft I would consider a proper name.
The Skeleton Knight and The Mistcaller are closer calls, but the fact that they start with "The" kind of causes it to become a quasi-proper name. They are not just any skeleton Knight or mistcaller, they are THE Skeleton Knight and THE Mistcaller.
Face Collector sounds like it should have a "The" in front of it, but I'd have to agree that it could easily fall into the same category as a Fluffy Potion Drinker.
I think one Surrender to Madness is enough.
Two buffs is obviously good, but you play this legendary only to overcome the Mana Crystal loss. If you play another Surrender of Madness after, you'll be behind your opponent
Edit: Yeet
So... lets say you got 10 mana crystals, if you play this card you would have four mana yet to spent and the oponnent would have six mana crystals, right?
I really like this card, but the card name doesn't seem fit for a legendary.
it's a temporary name, because the translation hasn't been done yet
Aggro is soooo in love with this card
Counters a really specific kind of deck... wow.
