Wait, seriously?? Healing minions counts towards Glass Knight and the Spellstone?? How did I miss that...I might have gotten an extra divine shield or two on my Glass Knight had I known that...
It feels like you could make the opposite version of Even Lock with this card, not sure how though, need to see more cards.
But control paladins with healing cards would boost this minion a lot.
The opposite of Even Warlock is Odd Warlock.
Also, it's a paladin card.
I think, paladin champion will be something like this :
5 mana 5/6 "Deal (n) damage to your hero, then restore it."
But, that's kinda boring imo))
Or "Restore all health you've lost last turn"
the flavor text of the champions says something like "he uses healing in a way you have never seen paladin use it befor", none of your guesses would achieve that.. i hope the champion somehow breaks the 30 health limit for paladin.. warrior can amror up, priests can use the healing as dmg source... paladin can just overheal without value, without upgrading spellstones activating blackguard oder other healing cards vs control which sucks
Doesn't fix the problem Heal Paladin always had. To heal shit, shit has to be hurt. Easy enough to accomplish against an aggressive or midrange deck but control won't be doing you any favours. As such, Heal Paladin ends up with half their deck essentially dead against control, because you're losing any value you might have gained both from the cards that heal and from the cards that require you to heal. Your entire strategy relying on going up against a specific strategy/class isn't the best way to build a deck, as Hagatha Elemental Shaman or Cutlass Thief Rogue can attest. There'd have to be a card that takes a significant chunk off your health for added benefit in order for that strategy to work well. Crystallizer is not the answer, it's a bad card you run just to make your other cards less bad. You need actual upside, like what Warlock gets for their self-damaging effects, in order for Heal Pally to work. If you're going for a board-centric strategy, you rarely end up wanting to heal your minons or having any really efficient way to do so, so once again, you'd have to run something like Fungal Enchanter, a pretty bad card in Pally, just to make the rest of your kit not suck. We don't need more stuff that benefits from healing, we need proper healing outlets for Paladin (as currently, Paladin blows at healing minions) and proper ways to self-damage for upside.
what if they give us tools to heal minions so we can play cards like Injured Blademaster
During my control paladin matches I restore a lot of life. I’ve had games where I went from sub-five life to full before the end.
That being said the healing happens later in the game. Playing this to activate will probably have to wait till turn 7-8. At that point you’ll probably only play this and a hero power. I would probably rather have a big minion on curve in my deck.
Absolutely in love with Heal paladin, glad they're supporting the type. I hope it finally gets to see the light.
Good card for Even Paladin, considering a single Truesilver Champion already brings you 40% there, and that's not even counting Crystalsmith Kangor synergy.
And the corpstaker one
The loa should help towards restoring most of that health easily.
I would ideally be able to play this card before I've gotten to the point I've played all of those spells.
Fun fact no one seems to know about: The health restored doesn't need to be to your hero.
Just as with Lesser Pearl Spellstone and The Glass Knight, restoring health to your minions counts towards the requirement.
That is some mighty control pally tool right there.
Yet, Hooked Reaver condition is quite easy for Warlock, and self dependant.
Healing instead depends on damage taken, actual healing availability and ultimately 10 is a nasty number with current cards.
As it is, it won't be dropped before lategame.
Maybe more synergy to be revealed...
Two Crystallizers are enough to bring you down ten on their own, so you can reliably trigger this even in a control mirror. If we get a little bit more synergy and at least one more decent healing card, I think this guy will be incredible.
Yeah, i was also thinking that going hard with weapons may also help.
Tbh, this is the most exciting Paladin card i've seen so far.
Even if not immediately good, potential is there for a very nice build, very much in tune with the class.
No, the second Crystallizer only works after you’ve lost the armor.
I know, but they help reliably lower your HP when your opponent isn't attacking face. I did have a little brain fart, but my point still stands. I think Crystallizer enables this card.
