This with the new warrior legendary spell or dr. Boom could actually be really gross. I mean yeah its effect is really hard to pull off, but at the end of the day it's just a REALLY big mech that you can magnetize other mechs to. As a 10/10 it's the biggest mech in the game, and I bet it'll see play in a few decks. :)
ill bet that it will be tier 1
so much meme potential, i love it, cant wait for the dane clips already
I wouldn't even bother with UI. I would just play Nourish and Branching Paths and wait until I draw Naturalize, Innervate and Hemet and then destroy my deck with that, then draw Mechathun from that. The problem is what to have for the rest of the deck that is mostly below 3 mana that is also good enough to help you survive and control the board until you can win.

I don’t know in standard but in wild you can play Thaurissan on mecha’thun, doomsayer & conceal.
It’s risky, but could work...
This is such a dumb card. It will rarely, if ever, go off. It's just a vanilla 10/10.
Aviana -> Kun -> (play out hand) -> Mecha Cthun -> Ticking Abomination -> Ticking Abomination -> Naturalize -> Moonfire
Exodia Druid!
Haha even tho exodia druid can be done with 100x less effort, I still like your creativity.
Just draw Mecha‘thun (also with Psychmelon) and clear your deck with Hemet. Next turn = win. Kappa
So we have a vanilla 10/10 for 10 mana Mech. Good to get in a turn 10 Omega Assembly + The Boomship combo.
This could work in a Deathrattle Priest deck though, as a extra win-condition as the deck sorely lacks in that area. It has however, little to no problems staying alive. All you'd need in such a deck for it to work would be; Mecha'thun, Gilded Gargoyle, Shadow Word: Death and Twilight's Call.
Simply play the Gilded Gargoyle as a means to progress your quest, when at least one have died, resummon it with any effect or with something like Twilight's Call. Then gain three The Coin from those and save them until you can play Mecha'thun. When you run out of cards and hand, and basically anything as the card says play;
Using (of course) the Shadow Word: Death to kill off your own Mecha'thun.

By battlefield do they mean your side of the battlefield or the entire board?
there is a "Your" before the word so it's "your" side of course
