The card actually fits perfectly in a Aviana Kun mold. Kun not only is essential for such combo decks anyway, but it automatically provides 1 of the 3 bodies you need to boot.
Not difficult at all to pull off in Wild.
1. Emperor Thaurissan or some form of Coin generation
2. Play Star Aligner + 2 Public Defenders/Doomsayers
3. Wipe the board.
The combo is really inefficient in terms of card efficiency, as every class has more efficient board clear effects. That said, potentially fun to pull off and it can win games.
Wait, i thought i already have this card in my collection. War Golem
I like that it can be the third ))
Shudderwock + Boisterous Bard. Might be somewhat clunky, but 7 to all enemies is gonna be amazing.
Prince Keleseth works too.
Yeah in fact its better if you want to have Shudderwock be at exactly 7 Health. When I first saw the card I had just woken up so I assumed that it meant 7+ Health, but that isn't the case, therefore Prince Keleseth, Baleful Banker and Witchwood Piper seem like a better selection of card to facilitate Star Aligner. Honestly, just getting the battlecry to trigger once should be enough to win you most games, so its good that it is a bit hard to achieve.
Since Giggling Inventor will see a lot of play, I feel that there need to be some counter. So I designed this card. Try to control your opponent to 15 health and this will outperform some old card by a million level!!
Giggling Inventor will not see play outside of rank 24 and Arena. What's more, your card is almost worse than Giggling Inventor itself. I can guarantee that you won't play this as anything but a 7 mana 9/5. And does anybody actually play Core Hound in standard, Wild or even Arena? No. Also, where the hell did Giggling Inventor even come from? This is a thread talking about a 7 mana minion with a niche but interesting effect. "There needs to be some counter" to what? Even if Giggling Inventor does see play, your card really does nothing unless their entire deck is filled with mechs, and considering the card releases, they aren't.
Battlecry: If your opponent controls 2 Annoy-o-Trons and has 15 health and you have 7 cards in your deck and you discarded 3 cards this game and you have Yogg-Saron, Hope's End in your collection and there is mirror in your room and there is triceratops walking on the street deal 2 damage to a random enemy.
there is already tech against Giggling Inventor.
It's calledBlood Knight.
We should wait to see what other cards this expansion holds. In my opinion card should've had the text " Battlecry: If you control 3 minions with above 7 equal Health, deal that amount to all enemies." Much more combo potential then just beign pack filler.
It's not really a pack filler. It could work in wild with some of their cards and cheat-out mechanics, but at least it's not as blatant as, say, Worgen Greaser or Ultrasaur (at least Ultrasaur was known in the sense that you could get it from Spiteful Summoner).
I like how this expansion seems so geared towards Wild. Seems super hard to pull off. Just noticed it's not 7 or more. Warrior/2 giants somehow at full health/whirlwind/this? Does this count as one of the three?
With how often wild seems to be getting nerfed now when something new enters standard I don't have a problem with this.
Wild support in the form of new cards that benefit the format is always welcome.
From a meta standpoint, I don't think this will see play. Too slow and ambitious like that summoner that draws a 10 cost minion on the next turn.
The condition of having 3 above 7 at anytime is a really hard to maintain. Odd priest maybe, but it still too slow.
Maybe seem play in control Giant warrior. Animated Berserk+2 Arcane Giant + Star Aligner.
Boomsday's Dr. 7
the card name is a perfect condition for the effect
The stars really have to align to trigger this battlecry.
7 health exactly, hmm, this will be a problem
