Wait... Druid has also an Omega card: Wild Growth D:
To be fair, Twilight Darkmender was actually very powerful in C'Thun decks.
Sure, it could proc before turn 10 but it was also possible that you did not draw your C'Thun cards to activate it (unlikely though)
I think that card is pretty solid overall, not sure if it will see any competitive play though. 3 mana 3/4 is solid stats.
Reminds me too much of the 6/5 from Old Gods, and that one was actually able to proc before turn 10
Forget Quest Priest. Reno Priest in Wild is going to use this extensively in Wild, which is going to be additional heal for them, plus this can be used with Brann Bronzebeard in Wild as a pseudo-Reno Jackson heal. This card and Cloning Device are going o significantly improve the viability of Reno Priest in Wild.
Good on 3, very good on 10, this could definitely see play in constructed and is gonna be a decent arena card.
All of these Omega cards approves that the omega project's legendary will be the new Omega C'thun.
Another heal for odd quest priest....and the game gets longer and longer if you don't manage to rush them down.
Remember Twilight Darkmender back in the day and how it wasn't even run in most c'thun heavy decks to begin with? And how getting C'thun to 10 in a c'thun deck is easier than surviving to turn 10?
Yeah, this isn't going to make any Control Priest decks.
I don't see any reason why it wouldn't though. It's a 3 mana 3/4 that heals you for 10 if you play it at 10 mana. This card is incredibly versatile in it's uses. If you need an immediate board presence on turn 3, you aren't sacrificing any stats for it. Sure, it doesn't have a direct impact like a battlecry or taunt, but there are plenty of games where you just need to drop a well-stat-ed minion on the board to get some tempo. The stats on this are also not crap on turn 3 like Twilight Darkmender's were for turn 5. You couldn't drop Darkmender on turn 5 and feel good about it. I would never feel bad about playing this on turn 3 for some emergency tempo.
Is this all it does? I won’t hesitate to say it is the weakest Omega Card.
Divine Hymn is a lot better. Sure Omega Medic can get you a 3/4 but Divine Hymn can get you cards with priestess and heal your minions back to full.
I think this card is quite good but I can't figure what deck would play it.
However, this is only based on the current meta and it's too early make any final conclusions. Interesting card for sure though.
The card is OK, it has premium stats, but it doesn't have that great an effect. Sure, healing your hero is good, but Priest's real strength is healing its own minions or giving them extra health (we've already had two 3/4 Priest creatures that do precisely that). Maybe it'll see some play anyway just because it's a 3/4, who knows.
Another crap for Priest. As usual.
lol, "as usual" ...few months ago priest had best decks, was also immortal and T1 ... now it get bad card and it is "as usual"
Omg new expansion arts are really awful...
So true man. Sad to see you getting downvoted by salty mindless blizzard fanboys. Even if blizzard prints a card with a single straight line as artwork they would still find a way to defend it "Uhhh it's not awful, it's minimalistic, you just can't get the message behind it..."
It's not amazing. But quest priest has some new tools. Amara plus baleful bankers and zola the gorgon can make for some good fatigue shenanigans. This could help in a fatigue situation too.
Which warlock deck runs it? I've had a lot of fun with it in my quest priest decks making more Amaras
interesting card but kind of conflicting card text, 3 mana 3/4 on 3 is powerful but it needs to be played on turn 10 which just isnt what priests need on turn 10, theyre a naturally control style hero which. I dont think it'll see much play
Yeah, it's almost impossible for control decks to reach turn 10 kappa
