Ok, but what the difference, imagine, you re new in WOW lore. and you see 2 living Trees, but one of them counts like treant and other is not, confusing, ye? About week ago Blizz changed and add some tags, and now they are adding this one. It's not consistently good.
Problem is: If a card say "summon 2 treants". it will summon two 2/2 or two minions from your list? A treant tag would be useless because they just way to use the 2/2.
So treant is 2/2 token and this is it.
Don't let Druids have all the fun, Festeroot Hulk is lonely!
Except they aren’t.
Mana Treants will count as Treants.

"Mana Treants do count as Treants. We're going to be updating Living Mana's text to make that more clear - it'll say that it summons "2/2 Treants" instead of "2/2 minions""
Thanks
Weirdly enough, I actually like Living Mana in a Hand Druid deck with Witchwood Apple and all those cards, because it gives you a super legitimate reason for not playing cards from your hand without keeping you behind on board. I think I'm really starting to see all the deckbuilding mad science *robot clone* Peter was talking about in the Dev Insight video.
They should buff Force of Nature to have rush, fixing the old nerf that killed it.
I'm pretty sure both will count.
Do we know for certain whether Living Mana will count? The other cards that make 2/2 Treants (Cenarius ones have taunt) are simply called “Treant”. Living Mana produces “Mana Treant”, does this also count as a Treant or is it just the cards that have the exact name “Treant”?
Similar to how the Silver Hand Murloc tokens from Vilefin Inquisitor are still Silver Hand Recruits for synergy effects, Mana Treants will almost definitely count as Treants.
Except Silver Hand murlocs don’t count as recruits
Read the PC Gamer article. It is confirmed in there.
Thanks
Nice, Druid has now 5 cards revealed, and Priest 0. Nice blizzard!
"Whaaaah, I wanna see Priest cards. Blizzard y u no care for my personal needs?"
*cough* warlocks too *cough*
Buut be patient. A lot of cards will be revealed soon (23th July).
Hmm Treant Druid Huh, seems like an interesting form of token hand druid.
Treant btw haHAA
So, stick one of these in a treant deck and add in a Splintergraft. You pop down a 0 mana 8/8 with Rush, then you hit it with Splinter and drop a 10/10 Muncher with Rush. You can kill 2 of your opponent's minions and have another 8/8 on the board all for 8 mana. Or you could drop 2 8/8's and a 10/10 if there's nothing to Rush down. That's a pretty good turn. I can't wait to try this package in a Treant Deck. Treant decks might also work pretty well with a Hand Druid package too thanks to Withcwood Apple. This seems FUN.
