Nah, 5 mana summon 3 2/2's with rush is already good; no need to make it 4 mana. Old Force of Nature was 6 mana anyways.
5 mana 3 2/2's with Rush is bad considering Starfall is in the game and it's not even played.
But you could still play FoN as a 5 mana tempo play to establish a board rather then hero-power, pass. So id's say it's fine at 5 mana, compare it to Call to Arms.
Mulchmuncher + Zilliax + Wargear...
10 mana 16/15, divine shield, taunt, lifesteal, rush
play this after baiting out a bunch of removals and maybe alexstrasza next turn for the lethal
damn
If you play splintergraft you can have an 8/8 rush mech an 8/8 splintergraft and a 10/10 rush mech on 8 mana.
If they want to make this treant archetype work, the treants need to be 1-mana 2/2s, not 2-mana 2/2s. I've played with Witchwood Apple in an even token deck, and the biggest problem with the card is the inflated cost of the 2/2.
Druid is already op no need for an aggro druid
Although seeing multiple types of druid that run different bases would be refreshing to see
As much as I hate seeing spiteful druid, it's still refreshing to see a different base of druid cards every once in a while
They all seem okay and pretty fair.
Looks like druid is getting the new Corridor Creeper...
At least there's a small restriction on it, the treants. Still gonna be a 0 mana 8/8 though :/
The difference is that in this case it's one of the only (currently revealed) pay off cards for running treants whereas corridor creeper could be thrown into virtually any deck.
I have a feeling there's gonna be at least one other Treant-synergy card in this expansion. Would not be surprised if the legendary spell is Treant related.
Nah I feel like this is enough of a package honestly. You can do some interesting memery with splintergraft and the 8/8. Getting it down low enough with living mana
I think a 6 mana spell summoning 3 2-2 treants with charge which die at the end of the turn sounds pretty good...
no, "treants" are not a tribe, so Nigthmare Amalgam doesn't count as a treant
Yeah, it's not a treant for the same reason that it's not a silver hand recruit (i.e. not an true tribe)
No, it's not a tribal type...
there definitely will be a neutral magnetic card. [ may be a bad or average one ]
Cool stuff, just what I have been hoping for honestly. Always bugged me that Treants have had no synergy of their own and that this theme of Druid was never really explored further aside from having some general token-synergy around. This finally makes up a bit for the fact that Doppelgangster is a better, rare, neutral version of the changed Force of Nature.
The cards themselves are pretty alright, maybe not the best stuff ever. Landscaping feels very mediocre. But there's always room for improvement in the future. Either way, I like it.
Landscaping might seem underwhelming but it's still a 4/4 across two bodies for 3 mana. Add to that that it's also a 2 mana reduction for an 8/8 and it's getting dangerous.
Will see play in the first week of the expansion for sure. Will it stay? depends on how strong this and other decks will be.
