Three New Cards - Supercollider, Flobbidinous Floop, Whizbang
Blizzard has revealed three new cards in a video with Peter Whalen.
Whizbang works as follows.
- When you add Whizbang to your deck, it replaces your hero, your deck, and renames it to "Whizbang is Wonderful".
- Each game you play, one random currently available deck recipe is chosen as your deck. There are 18 choices, 2 for each class.

What the hell is going on?
I'm pretty sure that will be the case.
If we follow golden cards' logic until now, yes.
Floop is insanely powerful, I love it! Apart from the Maly application, which is bonkers, you can use him for a second Togwaggle - play the first raw. Then, when they Ransom, you can Floop (Togwaggle), innervate/coin, Azalina.
In both applications, Maly and Togwaggle, it’s a perfect backup if they deal with your Twig. GREAT card.
I thought the same thing. It's a very interesting card.
What happens if you build an even deck with him. Does Genn Greymane trigger first and then the deck morphed?
It's explained in video. When you add Whizbang to deck, the rest of deck would be removed, and maximum size will be 1.
Damn that Whizbang looks interesting, it's like playing dices every game.
Holy crap! We are reaching RNG levels I did not think were possible!
Meh, at least I will have some drunk fun with Whizbang the Wonderful
Grab your mechs when you see druid
Call the devs when you see druid
Who rushed me? But you pals didn't finish
Now you 'bout to feel the wrath of a nature!
Black Knight, I hit 'em up!
Whizbang the Wonderful is actually a rly cool feaure for new players. Craft one card, get full deck(s). And sure, those will not be top tier meta decks, but i actually played one of the Rogue recipe decks today for a quest and it performed well enough in those few games, so not like you cant win games with them.
What do you think the chance will be of a HS streamer challenge using only Whizbang decks? Seems pretty tough to master 18 decks, but good for the memes.
There's already a Reddit Challenge for 40 packs going on: https://www.reddit.com/r/hearthstone/comments/908l37/if_someone_goes_legend_only_using_whizbang_ill/
also, Floop is gonna make druid malygos combos even more consistent. i can just simply slam it as a tempo 4/12 to make the opponent pee on his pants. if the opponent does remove it, I can make a new maly with Floop and Faceless Manipulator combo the next turn and do at least 2 moonfires with it. if I run alex and DK Malfurion, that could be potent 3 turn lethal set-up.
gotta have Whizbang as a golden legendary, will having it golden give me 27 golden decks? PogChamp
Probably yes. I hope.
i wonder who takes the ranked victory of Whizbang the Wonderful ?, the class that you picked before put him in the deck, or just is another separated wins count
Why is he not wearing a chicken suit??
Whizbang can actually be quite good. Spell Hunter and Even Paladin (at time of WW release) were deck recipes that were pretty close to what the final lists for ladder looked like. But you can also have such obscurities as Freeze Shaman. For those who want to play something "new" every now and then, it's certainly a good card to get and definitely worth keeping around when deck recipes keep changing over the years.
I still don't really want it. I mean, it's cool, but it really is more meant for casual playing, and I'd rather have legendaries I can use for the decks I want to play. Which gets me to Floop.
WARNING: Rage incoming!
I want Floop. I want to play it. It's a cool card with lots of cool ways you can use it. I really like it. BUT: If this leads up to Malygos becoming a "problem", I really have to give the Hearthstone dev team the middle finger. If they end up saying that Malygos is too strong and limits design space and blablabla, I can not take it serious anymore. If this provokes ANY discussion about Hall of Fame again, if there's debates going on about nerfing Malygos, this is ONLY your own fault, Team 5.
I mean, its one thing that Call to Arms and Even Paladin turned out stronger than expected, or that Patches was a bit too good even for classes that otherwise have no use for pirates, or that Jade Druid in KFT had too few weaknesses, or even that Yogg was good enough for tournaments. I am willing to accept that all these were "accidents" or rather, that you underrestimated the power of specific cards.
But making a card that effectively reduces Malygos to 4 mana, and for that specific class that has always been infamous for its Malygos potential, is REALLY asking for trouble. I mean, there is NO excuse for this if it turns out to be too strong. You can't complain about "design space", when you make a tailored synergy card for that one thing you deem "problematic."
If it was a Warrior card, or a Hunter card, maybe it would end up seeing no play, but there would still be potential. You could combo Grommash Hellscream or King Krush. It could still be a very good card. But giving it to Druid, when you keep mourning that Swipe is too good and that Moonfire is so strong with spell damage and that Malygos combos are oh-so "uninteractive", you might as well say "we want to nerf Malygos, but we want you to ask us first, so here's a card that you can abuse the hell out of".
Honestly speaking, I don't even think that Malygos Druid will inevitably be a strong deck. I mean, I can certainly see it happen, but I'm not gonna say this is 100% going to happen. It really depends on so many other things. Maybe other decks will be too fast for the Floop dream. You can't use Oaken Summons with it, which puts quite a hole in Druids survival kit. And maybe there will be some counter cards in the set that can completely ruin such ambitious combos like Dirty Rat (feels like everybody misses him).
But if the deck should become problematic, they asked for it. They made it happen. It's not an accident or anything uncertain in this. This card begs to be used with Malygos, it's obvious to anybody looking at it. There is NO way that they could not anticipate this deck to be tried out. They MUST have playtested it. And if it was too good, they know already. Either they don't care, or they want people to go crazy so they can kill another Classic favorite. Really, you can go F yourself if you talk about nerfing Malygos a month later.
Don'r forget Taunt Druid. You can play Handronox and get it hexed or polymorphed and next turn you can use Floop and get Handronox with mulch. Or even combo it with Eater Ooze.
Yeah, Druid about to get another OP card. Who knew..
