Patch 11.1: Shudderwock & Lifedrinker Animation Speed Up, Arena Card Rates
A new patch has hit the live servers with a change to Shudderwock's animation speed and maximum battlecries, Lifedrinker's animation speed, and the appearance rate of some arena cards.

Arena
- Updated the appearance rate of cards to improve class balance by win percentage. For example, Paladin had a higher than average win rate, and should now be closer to average.
Bug Fixes
- Corrected the art on the Soul Assimilation Monster Hunt card.
- [Android] Updating Hearthstone via the client no longer triggers a warning about installing an app from an unknown source.

I still hate this card. Even Ben Brode said before leaving that "OMG YOU HAVE TO FIX THIS" when he saw it, but it was too late and had to go out apparently.
maybe its not the card, maybe its the battlecry effects people are programming into it. as a 1 off card its tolerable but being able to play a better yog 100% garantied every single turn is too much.
I've seen these animations take 8 minutes and more. It's more destructive to the game to leave it alone than to nerf it.
I don't see why people are so upset.

Busted! That is megabogus! Shudderwock animations were taking a long time, but to limit it to 20 is such crap it's not even funny.
Why not be explicit about the arena changes? It makes it difficult to choose a correct class if you don't know that suddenly you're very unlikely to get any weapons in paladin or whatever the change is. Just give us full information.
Isn't that the point though? There shouldn't be a correct class or a class that's more powerful. Everyone should be able to choose the class they like to play instead of being forced to pick the one that getting higher win rates.

I always wondered, is there any legitimate combo that requires more than 20 iterations anyway? Why not just have a hard stop at 20 for all loop-based or feedback events in the game? Just the other day I played a Firelands Portal against a deathrattle minion from Groddo the Bogwarden in Monster Hunt, which in turn killed one of his Bloated Zombies. My portal happened to spawn Grim Patron. The rest was an infinite loop of green fog yelling "everyone get in here" at me until I died from 1 dmg ticks.
Was there even ever a Shudderwock deck that used more than 20 battlecries?? (that wasn't a troll to make the game last as long as possible)
arena needs mega fix, its like all mages have at least 2 blizzards and/or flame strike and paladins have at least 2 spikeridged steed, there is no skill just luck ,before all these changes at least I could get a 12 wins every once in a while, now its very very hard to get that you need to have a crazy deck to get to that level, just get arena to the way it was before the stupid patch like 2 month ago.

It's not a nerf when you can still play 5 Shudderwocks in one turn. Just a quality of life change..
