Nice Galyn copy, Blizzard!
Anyone knows how this works with Weasel Tunneler? I know its rotating but I'm just curious for wild.
It should buff the one on board, then give YOU 3 buffed copies. Then when it dies, your opponent should get 1/1's. And when his dies, you get 1/1's back. That's how I'm reading it.
Blessing of Kings + Gang Up = 6 mana. -1/-1 = 5 mana + Condition: (only target beasts) = 4 mana. Cost checks out! Even better deal when you consider the buffs to the shuffled copies!
I think this is very good. I'm excited about my 9/8 Savannah Highmane when I have this very late game, or Huffer going totally crazy and having three more 7 attack charge buddies shuffled in... There are a ton of great plays with this - you might even shuffle in buffed copies of some insane Zombiest that was already very powerful before getting buffed. 6/6 Vicious Fledgling
This card is pretty exciting!
Edit: Good point about the cost of the buffs on the tokens... That's an additional +9/+9, spread across the three cards. Seems like buffing undrawn cards isn't worth much using existing examples, but that at least adds a mana or two of value to the cost. Thanks for pointing that out, Ciciopizzo!
Very good to use with Rush or Charge Beasts. or even taunt beasts if that's what you need.
Hunting Mastiff is probably going to be the most used with Dire Frenzy, cause I mean, who doesn't want 10 mana 25/20 on the board? and also have extra back ups for even more
now you need to draw them...
Man I wanna try some control hunter decks now, with these new cards
Only the first Mastiff would have the buff
echo doesn't keep the buff? that's sad
I will still try this though with the other beasts with rush/charge
this can be insanely fucking broken for long term hunter decks but also batshit backwards pants-on-head retarded with hunter quest, I like where this is going.
play it onQueen Carnassa lmao
Or on King Krush.
worthy target if it survives the next turn
Put this on quest hunter and then you will have 60 raptors in your deck
Probably the one of the best card's ever printed for Hunter.
So... With 2 of those, it actually allows you to play 7 Queen Carnassa for 105 Raptors... And does not require a setup, just you waiting to turn 9... God this one is scary.
Yeah, is incredible, it has insane Synergy not only with the Quest, but with Hunting Mastiff ( only the first copy will retain the buff) Allowing you have more of those to actually do some insane turns with Witch's Cauldron , Stampede and Cult Master, what might be what was the need to play Control Hunter ( maybe, Blizzard could show Hunter some love and add some heal) .
Also has synergy with big Hunter, allowing you for shuffle more beast in case your Kathrena Winterwisp cannot pull anything else.
You might not run this just in Spell Hunter and in Aggro, because in Aggro it can be a dead draw, but, i don't know if we can be sure about stating it being bad in Aggro, since 1 mana 4/4 + beasts sound's good in Aggro.
you get more raptors though. at least more of them in your deck cause you just shuffled 6 in ( if you played it twice on carnassa)
Drawing those Queen's should not be a problem, since your deck is kinda full of Raptor, by them, and you can safely force the combo.
.
I aaaam...conflicted. On one hand, the minions, ANY minions affected by this, when drawn, will be godlike. On the other, the card up front is bad. Like really bad. If you're buffing a Beast for 4 mana, wouldn't your rather buff it +1/+1 less and get a 4/3 body alongside it? I know I would. Now, say you play a Rat Pack (I'm a Wild player, screw your rotations). Your opponent either has to kill it and all its little buddies before your next turn, or you get a tempo boost through "charging" +3/+3 power and three 1 mana 4/4s into your deck, or the Rat Pack lives (say if your opponent Calls to Arms) and your opponent likely concedes the moment you draw the first one unless they have silence. The issue is drawing it. Hunter is bottlenecked pretty hard in that respect. Every 1 mana 4/4 you draw is that one less Savannah Highmane or Spellbreaker you draw to put the last nail in your opponent's coffin.
Regarding the Quest Hunter potential, again, you are adding more 1 drops into your deck, yes, but first you have to draw them, which Hunter does poorly AND more importantly, quite a good number of the 1 drops a Quest Hunter would like to run are not Beasts, but stuff like Fire Flies and Igneous Elementals. The potential upside of this card is great, but the downside is you're playing a conditional 4 mana +3/+3 (sure ain't no Blessing of Kings) if you never draw any of the extras you shuffled or draw them too late to matter.
yeees!!! more beast hunter!!
HUNTER IS BACK BABYYYYY
