Miniature Warfare (Standard) is This Week's Brawl!
That pesky Shrinkmeister turned all your Hearthstone cards into toys! Now all your minions are 1/1 and only cost (1) mana!
Trivia
- Miniature Warefare debuted on January 27th, 2016.
- This is the fourth time we've seen this brawl.
- Shrinkmeister is behind all the shenanigans according to the brawl text.
How it Works
- This brawl requires that you build a 30 card deck using cards from your own collection.
- All your minions become 1/1 and cost 1 mana.
- Fill that deck up with Legendaries for crazy cheap awesome effects. Alexstrasza says hello!
Discuss This Week's Brawl
Head on over to our dedicated discussion thread on our Tavern Brawl forums.
have lost a lot of games in a row, should i just put big minions? or focus more in recruit things?
big minions won't help here; you need swarm minions and strong Battlecries; divine shield pally worked great for me in the past.
Pop a Violet Wurm and follow it up with Bloodlust or Frostwolf Warlord. Marin the Fox is a good include.
Just focus on minions with strong effects (deathrattles or battlecries) or who impact other / are impacted by other minions.
Onyxia is great to include as well.
Alex is broken... turn 1 nuke for 15.
Turn 1 Grand archivist into call of the wild, prepare myself for my opponents rage. *insert "it was at that moment he realize he Fd up" meme.
several turns later my opponent uses evolve, yeah we realized we didnt understand this brawl xD.
Lol - I tried the exact same thing! I thought for sure evolve would lead to some huge, non-nuked shit. Whoops!
There was one time when in this tavern brawl Evolve gave full stats on minions for no reason. So, maybe, dude just didn't know they fixed this bug.
C'thun OTK MAKES A RETURN!! MUHAHAHA
Ragnaros/Leeroy --> Faceless --> Faceless --> Taldaram
Win.
Nice, with this Leeroy combo you can deal 4 damage to the enemy face using 4 cards.
Worth it.
Standard brawl, no rag this week.
Ragnaros in standard brawl/Leeroy 1/1 --> Shame --> Shame --> Concede
Lose.
Classic ..! ^^
Nooo... Personally, I don't like this brawl, because many of the powerful effects and broken combos require legendaries, and not everyone has them. This can turn this otherwise interesting brawl quite unfun for some players. And it's also the fourth time we've seen it. But it's understandable if you like it, it does indeed bring up unique deckbuilding and plays.
Yep, legendaries like Bloodlust, Frostwolf Warlord, and Stormwind Champion.
I thought, Furbolg Mossbinder could be a good card, but it also transforms only in a 1/1, Skelemancer too.
Cheap and good in this brawl: Fungalmancer, Bonemare, Questing Adventurer, Spawn of N'Zoth, Marin the Fox, Violet Wurm, Stormwind Champion
Wow, I've played a few hands, without looking at netdecks, and have tried to build an original deck and tweak it as I go along. Every single opponent I've played has played the exact same shaman deck, which I suppose was posted somewhere. I'm not angry or anything, but it's simply a little disappointing. It seems like an interesting brawl, and it would be nice to see some creativity from someone other than a small minority before everyone start robotically playing the same couple of decks.
