This is not true because you take the damage before you go immune so if you are at 1 health this secret doesn't prevent you from dying
So ..basically always hit rogue with biggest minion. ...but if it’s sudden betrayal then u wasted one big hit. ..unless u have no neighbours and just 1 BIG minion....sudden betrayal won’t trigger and rogue be sad....
Also...if aggro, u can just test this card with a 1/1. Then, instead of going face maybe do some value trades.
I dunno....this seems bad. But maybe will se play in miracle rogue in order to stall.
So does it stop the damage before you take it or do you take the damage THEN become immune?
just read the wording on Ice Block , it is different
the key word is "When" and "After"
Okay, so this is actually really cool to exist alongside sudden betrayal, because one punishes you for hitting in with your big minions (Missing valuable face damage, and uncontrollably losing another minion), while this one punishes you for hitting in with small first (Because then you miss out on valuable face-damage). That means that when you have a low HP rogue with secrets in play, you've got to somehow balance both options, making for potentially more skillful gameplay.
Sudden Betrayal, You want to attack with a weak minion.
Evasion, You want to attack with strong minion.
Excellent design for both of these. They compliment each other perfectly.
Totally agree, moreover, if you play both at the same time you're very likely to survive next turn.
As long as they don't get some counter spell BS, I am fine with all of the secrets they get. I will just Flare them to death! lol
Might be useful, Shadowblade seems more versatile in mill decks.
Nice... Now instead of Mages Rogues will have Ice Block... Though idea here is opposite, you want to try and one shot them instead of leaving them at 1.
oh the shenanigans u can pull if evasion and sudden betrayal are viable
not sure how good this is, its not quite ice block, its doesnt achieve what ice block can. you can only play this if you think an otk is coming which may actually make it really bad. it is good in one aspect, if you see a good aggro turn coming where they will do massive damage. it will see play but again not sure how good it is yet.
RIP exodia mage if rogue go tier 1
not really, they have to guess that your going to go off and play this the turn before which isnt likely especially with the new elemental card which allows for an alternate otk with quest mage.
Well exodia should just ping before playing apprentices... they need only 7-8 mana to activate time warp if they can generate 5 apprentices, and even if not, it gives rogue only one extra turn...
who is mage,now ?
Solid against aggro but pathetic against control.
Its really bad if u play it very early cuz then u cant really attack a minion while this is active otherwise this will proc on your turn. So this card needs proper timing if u play it.
You need to play it when you feel an OTK coming on.
Secret does not trigger on the owner turn.
