ah right with new legendary you can have 1 mana Al’akir in hand so turn 10 it is (Turn 8 play al’akir, turn 9 return to hand Al’Akir and totems, turn 10 replay totems and Al’akir and play wind shear on top)
Once evolve tools rotate out in the spring, this will be auto include in Shaman decks.
shaman is officially dead with these new cards, there is no early game in the class, there is no healig, the card draw is poor
Really excited about these cards. Totem shaman is so much fun! Hermit might not see play tons of play; being able to choose from 4 totems is really really powerful but playing this card in your deck is just like playing a guaranteed highroll hero power plus a 1/1 which doesn't look too bad stat and board-state wise, but it may be better to just cut this card and roll the dice on your hero power. Primal Talismans into Windshear Stormcaller on curve could be a very powerful combo. Wild totem shaman gets a major boost and I can even see these being thrown into some new builds of standard evolve shaman.

But on a serious note,I dont see a reason why not since at worst case senario is a fair stated card, 5mana 5/5. Seems like auto include to me at a shaman deck, especially after the rotate happens next year.
so i guess the totems you get back to your hand from new shaman legendary wont be dead weight now

Kobold Hermit has such flexibility, that it will be an autoinclude in Totem decks for sure.
Worthless. I'm disappointed that they wouldn't continue in the freeze or elemental direction with these cards. Instead we get a most likely unplayable theme.
i think it's just a cool card doesn't win you the game it's just cool
Healing or taunt or spell power on demand is quite good...
vs. aggro : your shaman. you pop out air and drop the maelstrom.
vs. tempo now they have to deal with totems instead of attacking face. keeps you alive long enough to play thing from below and other cards in the deck. a totem deck also has flame tongue, murloc, mana. these tools create a totally different situation than you are thinking. can't look at this in a vacuum, totem shaman is a synergy deck.
midrange: totems are bonemare targets. it' a card the deck plays already. a totem deck may infact end up also midrange. and maybe swarmy jade.
combo: draw power is not how you beat combo. it's by out running their setup game.
vs control: they won't bother using single target cards against totems. if you can draw out their Aoe's and then go wide with the actual deck space you have otherwise, the game can be won regardless of these cards.

Damn I'm excited about totem shaman. As meme-y as it might be, it'll be a blast to play...
I'm sure the 1/1 will be the last choice most players will make. More often it'll see play with spell power totem or taunt.

Too bad, too easy too play around it- and if you already have all this totems all you need is only bloodlust. Why not just any four totems? Most of the time it will be 9 mana Allakir with addition 5 mana body.
what are you talking about? you post doesn't make much sense. and blood lust on 4 totems is 12 damage. no where near lethal.
which is why the whole combo happens by turn 5. turn 5 al sounds good enough. divine shield taunt windfury charge. it helps plenty
