How many times my opponent silenced my steed or Tirion? Countless, did this stop me from playing them? Nope. Then I think this is a great card. Just because it can be silenced its not shit. Besides if your hydrologist or dude with steed gets silenced then this won't.
Evolve nerf
Big nerf to Evolve+Thing from Below : /
Play 1-2 Adaptation the turns befor you play Lynessa and the problem is solved
the only reason she is bad is silence which is currently not being played heavily except in priest so you just have to play around that try to get them to silence your other steeds before playing her playing around stuff is kind of what makes good players different from bad players, and if silence gets played more then they have to choose your steeds that are on board now to silence or hold it for the chance you play her
devolving tirion might be super strong now %)
Lynessa is pretty good with can not be targetted by spells and hero power adaptation.
I think the way it works is yea adaptation gets targeted on her but a random one only, not necessarily the cant be targeted one.
Nvm I agree with the post below you get to choose again, but still you arent likely to get that one.
Silence wins, transform wins, but if you're keeping those on lock until she appears, you might be letting your opponent get ahead in other ways.
Evolve nerf, for sure. Going to be the worst moment ever if you Thrall, Deathseer a 4 mana into Big-Time Racketeer and then Evolve into Lynessa Sunsorrow.
that's what was i thinking about, the downside of silence and the transform mechanic
EDIT: Whoops, misread here. I completely agree.
4 mana 7/7 btw
I'll just Shadowstep my Vilespine Slayer
Dies to removal
Getaway Kodo says hi
Quest comeback
Prepare for salt moments when Atiesh sumons this from Flamestrike :D
Holy crap the comments on some of these cards are ignorant. Everyone's saying: "silence" as if every single deck runs one of those when in reality it's one class that probably wasted it on your Spikeridged Steed buff. And even if they do manage to silence this, that likely means that Tirion will get away without a silence. It's a card that you need to build a deck around but as previously mentioned, even one Kings and Steed makes this card incredible, not to mention other buffs you might run in a Galvadon deck.
Seriously though, in evaluating cards, it seems like everyone just jumps to the worst possible outcome and blurts it out. Nobody runs Ironbeak Owl anymore. That new Ettin thing won't summon a Doomsayer every time. Stop using fringe cases to justify why you think a card is bad.
But that is the problem with understated cards like this. Most of the time it will be devolved, hex'd, sheep'd or just silenced and that makes it bad. There is reason why Quest Paladin never worked.
// Edit: And if your opponent has the right answer then you played a 7 mana 1/1 so you basically skipped your turn and the tempo loss is so big that it will lose you the game on the spot.
