Blizzard is Considering Options for Druid - More Information this Week
Hearthstone's Game Director, Ben Brode, tweeted this afternoon that we'd be seeing information from Blizzard this week on the problematic Druid class. Stay tuned! To the ground with you!
Quote from Ben BrodeThanks for the feedback regarding Druid. We've been considering options and should have more to share this week.
Lol. That'll certainly make Jade Druids Skulk back to where they came from...
I
The news is so short that I can't help but grow paranoid. Something tells me the incoming nerf will be disappointing.
Does this mean that i will soon stop seeing malfurion's bitchface in every game?

That's some good balance right there
like it, but i think innervate is not the problem here...this way it still works jsut as well with Auctioneer and any current or future combos.
It would only nerf Aggro druid (who I think is more broken through Living Mana).
The real problem with Druid right now is the amount of ramp we have. There's a total of 8 ramp cards you can ahve in your deck and combined with Ultimate Infestation that makes for really oppressive curves.
Innervate is part of druids class identity and standard kit. Nerfing it is like nerfing fireball. Mabye druid is strong right now, but when its weak again you will look back and be like, why the crap did they nerf innervate, it allowed for so many cool creative strategies and made druid stand out. I hate people who ask for class evergreen cards nerfs so much because they are so ignorant to the future implications, all they care about is some annoying deck now, they dont care about that class in the long run. Think back to bladeflurry nerf, demonstrating the retarded reality of blizzard nerfs. When you ask for a card nerf, just realize that it will never be playable again, and realize that that class will probably be trash tier again in the near future, and now they're even worse because they were permanently nerfed because some crappily designed new cards were op.
What happens when they get nerfed? And then what will you cry about next being nerfed? Would you like them to nerf Chillwind Yeti? Perhaps Boulderfist Ogre is too strong too in your opinion. Honestly, carry on and maybe they'll nerf wisp too. Druid needs it, but sometimes decks are strong and sometimes they're weak.
actually, we'd have the resurgence of aggro (since Druid's popularity combined with their taunts weakened those.
If Druid isn't played then people will just go back to Pirate warrior
Then what becomes strong after they're nerfed? I agree, druid is ridiculous but you need strong decks as much as you need weak. If they nerfed all that you'd cry for shaman nerfs, and what then? Do you see? Fuck me it's like we live in a world where all tier 1 or 2 decks should be nerfed according to most.
I mean... If a deck is nearing the winrates of that of Huntertaker, which was the deck with the highest winrate ever, then i'd argue that the deck is problematic.
That said, i kinda hope that they target Jade Druid. Aggro druid is also extremely strong, but not even near as problematic as Jade Druid.
