nah your just wrong
Buff to Zoo.
Insane arena card. Like a 1 mana Moat Lurker. With spell and tribe synergy.
Frost Elemental is a turn six play. It's dead in your hand in the early game, and by the time you actually can play it, the game often has already swung one way or the other.
Freezing Potion has no value. You're down an entire card after playing it. The fact that it costs zero mana is barely even relevant because it's rare you have cards to play with all of your mana and also have a good freeze target.
Glacial Shard is a 1 mana 2/1. Even if you have no good freeze target, you can play it on turn one and force your opponent to ping it rather than play anything else useful. Being one mana, it's still very easy to play in the same turn as a huge tempo play, and the freeze effect can prevent your opponent from making a critical trade to come back. In the mid-game, except for the oddball turn where the 1 mana cost disrupts your curve, this is a higher tempo play than Freezing Potion as a 1 mana 2/1 that doesn't cost you a card is extremely strong.
Know what other cards are 1 mana 2/1s with strong effects? Pre-nerf Abusive Sergeant and pre-nerf Leper Gnome. All the old aggro decks that used to thrive on them now have this card which is almost as good if not equally good.
Shatter: the new Execute ;)
Why do i want this shit now??
Freezing Potion
So, that's why Ice Lance is moving out classic ?
I don't think so, because Freezing potion existed before. I think they wanted to make a space for Flame geyser and other effective spells that can target players without risking an OTK mage.
Baby's first Frost Elemental
The only question is this: Is freeze random effect or you can choose who to freeze ???
Do you see the word "random" in the card text?
Another counter to aggro decks , you can even freeze them before they attack with weapon.
Can be used offensively to prevent minion trading, defensively to prevent face damage, and gives elemental synergy.
Seems good to me.
I think they're planning on releasing elements first than the dinosaurs
I'm not sure it's just a guess
Freeze mage alive PogChamp (not)
Community: "Blizz, please, stop creating powerful one drops""
Blizz: "What, you want me to release more cool one drops? Oh well..."
No, but seriously, not broken or anything I think. Just somehow a lot more exiting than a hunter rare card I guess.
We're losing flamewaker, but I feel like the tempo mage will be replaced by an elemental mage that'll be a bit slower, and this is a good card for that
Gets Drawn with new Hunter card. elemental hunter ftw.
Considering you can freeze an enemy hero to prevent to be attacked in the next turn, it's pretty good. Now you can avoid rogue and druid's hero power killing it for free and trade up in a 2 drop. And drawing late it's also a big deal making you take the initiative of the board. It'll probably run in elemental based decks.
